    Absolutely beautiful place

They're still having a few new-hotel issues and power went out in the night/morning

This Riad is in a great location for walking to the Medina and other tourist highlights. It is very quiet once you are inside. Most of the staff are friendly and try to help. The breakfast is good enough to get you on your way for the day.

Cars cannot get up the alleys and therefore you need to walk with your suitcases for the last bit of the journey - ask the Riad to organise your transfer as the driver will then help. We booked our own transport and were therefore left on our own for the walk using Google maps. Only the owner speaks English and so you need a good handle on Google translate. The rooms are very basically furnished and the provision of toiletries are minimal and very poor quality. Do not rely on them - take your own. The roof terrace is not very attractive and has just two beds and no side tables. Our biggest issue was with the help we asked for with taxis - I know that we were certainly ripped off with the prices for trips inside the city that were agreed between the driver and the Riad staff. Then, as we departed, we were put into a taxi that could only serve inside the city when we were going to the outskirts. Again, with no English spoken, we stopped and another passenger tried to board and we were told that we had to travel with that person in the car to a location to meet up with another taxi that had to take us. That second taxi then did not want to honour the price we had been given. I am not a complainer, and I can cope with all the other discomforts and probably would not have mentioned them in a review if we had not had these problems with the taxis arranged by the Riad staff.

A beautiful, old world riad with orange trees in the courtyard; with a big breakfast.

The courtyard magnified all the noise into the rooms (kind of a general riad design issue); and I found the bed really hard.

Comfortable bed, it was in a local area

Very hard to find, poor signage. Adults and kids alike at the entrance to the street will try to "guide" you to the riad and then try to get money off you. The rooms aren't sound proofed. The door wasn't secure, flimsy locking mechanism and there was a gap through the door. First night was very loud, took a while to get to sleep. Lighting in the bathroom was dim. Light fittings easily can fall off. The towels are thin, toilet roll is very cheap and no bidet/douche. No shower gel, give you a useless broken bar of soap which doesn't form any later. Shampoo sachets rather than proper shower gel and shampoo. You can't hook the shower head up anywhere and it was positioned very low. Poor value for money. Breakfast wasn't good at all. Very basic. One day we were going on an excursion they said they couldn't provide an early breakfast. We came down to the lobby that day and found other guests being served an early breakfast!

Super friendly host, family and staff, all informative giving good advice and recommendations. The Riad is very interesting, located in a peaceful area among local people and only a short walking distance to the "action" (market shops and places of interest) On our first morning, the host walked with us through the maze of streets to a known location which was appreciated.

Staff were amazingly helpful despite difficulties in speaking English. Breakfast good.

Room facilities tired and bad smell from drains. Had to hold shower as unable to hook up.

Friendly, clean, good service, good advice for anything we inquired. This riad has kept the very beautiful authentic Moroccan style. All the rooms are unique and stunning. The bathrooms are incredibly beautiful with traditional shower corners, Tadellakt, Zellige and lanterns. The suites have fire places. Good beds, very quiet place to sleep. The woman who cleaned our room was amazing, very friendly and very attentive.

Very comfortable and the staff was friendly

Location… it was in a narrow lane which was rather messy when it rained. Quite a walk from the Medina main square.

This riad is beautiful and the people were so kind: booking us taxis when needed, giving directions, suggestions on things to do etc. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. We had a fantastic stay.

My only observation is if you are on the bottom floor, you will most definitely be woken by anyone entering/leaving/having breakfast in the courtyard!

Nothing to eat if you don't order in advance. Bathroom with a window directly to the bedroom, not privacy

Location a bit hard to find (may be some direction signs from the Sidi Ayoub place would help).

Honestly I loved everything. The staff were absolutely amazing, the breakfast was excellent, the place was in the middle of the old city so you were immersed with the locals, the riad had a pool, and the unit was super clean. No complaints. I only wished there was a bidet available.

There was not a bidet or a container to use the toilet with.
