Everything was great!

The riad is perfectly located close to all the sites in Marrakech, and yet it is quiet and peaceful inside. The decor is beautiful, the beds are comfortable and everything is very clean. The breakfast is delicious and generous. Mostafa and Achraf are the perfect hosts, both are incredibly kind and willing to provide all assistance. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Marrakech!

Everything from start to finish at Riad Sofia was wonderful. Transport from the airport was easily arranged and Mustafa greeted us on arrival with wonderful mint tea. The Riad itself is a beautiful building and easy to reach all the sights nearby. Mustafa provided lots of recommendations and a map for us. Sahid made us an amazing Tagine on our first night. The breakfast was delicious and fresh made and the rooftop a lovely place to relax away from the bustle of the Medina. Our room was comfortable and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here the hosts are exceptional.

Walls not very sound proof - able to hear conversations from the dining area while in bedrooms

The interior was beautiful! From the lobby/dining area to the bedrooms and rooftop. The attention to detail in the design. The homemade Moroccan breakfast was delicious! A lovely pool to cool down in.

The room could be noisy if other guests were at the tables in the central atrium. This only happened once with some late arrivals. Most guests seemed conscious of the other guests staying in the Riad and noise was kept to a minimum.

From the start the communication with the Riad was excellent offering airport taxi service, day trips and massage. Through our whole stay, Mustafa could not have been a better host - he was friendly, professional, extremely helpful and informative. The Riad is beautiful and it was wonderful to stay in somewhere more traditional. Our room was beautifully decorated, comfortable and had all the facilities you would expect, including a stunning yet traditional bathroom. The breakfast was good and we had a delicious tagine on the roof terrace on our first night. We also opted for a scrub and massage in the Riad which was a lovely, relaxing experience. The location was ideal for us too - easy to walk to the souks and main square with lots of good, local restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend a stay at Riad Sofia.

New guests arrived and the were smoking in the courtyard area and also at breakfast. You could even smell it in our room. As a non smoker , I believe smoking should only be outside and not pleasant when you are eating. the Riad was beautiful and for me that spoilt it.

Hard to say...this Riad allows you to meet western standard while still quite authentic and real. The building and its decorations are amazing! Some structural issues - such as some humidity or the hard compromise between getting some natural ventilation or light in the ground floor room, while preserving privacy - could have been handled better. However, since you want to spend most of your time hanging around or in its terrific patio with the outstanding personnel, at the end of the day it didn't really matter.

While I found Marrakech to be interesting, exciting and exotic, the best part of it for me was the refuge of the Riad Sofia. The history and beauty of the building was stunning. The peace, quiet and serenity of the Riad were a welcome and much needed respite after the day’s adventures amongst the tangled alley ways and shops. I must say the best part of the trip, besides my wife, were Mustafa and Said. What style and class these two gentlemen had. They were more than willing to help us get around and proudly share the history, restaurants and shops of the area whenever we asked. If I lived there, I would surely call these two guys my friends. I would certainly stay here again and may I add… my favorite shower of all time. Special thanks to Mustafa!  -Scott Stanford

He was always available to help, offered great recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed. His warmth and hospitality made the experience so special. The riad itself was beautiful and peaceful, a perfect retreat from the busy streets. Breakfast each morning was a delight – fresh, varied, and served with such care. Beautiful property in quiet and convenient location in heart of Marrakesh. Great staff who were always happy to help. As no drinks were available to purchase at the Road it would have been nice to have tea or coffee making facilities or access to a fridge to keep drinks cool.

The staff are the stars of the show, friendly and professional, nothing was too much for them. Said and Mustafa were superb! The whole place was beautifully decorated in a traditional style and the location is excellent!

Having USB connection or addition charging socket would be helpful but it’s not a deal breaker. Mustafa sorted the adapter and iron on request.

Accommodation was well looked after. This was the best check in experience I ever had. Mustafa was friendly and professional. He offered the Moroccan tea and explained things to do around Marrakesh. Breakfast was super delicious. Room was good size and very authentic. Room was serviced daily. Highly recommended.

The location is perfect , and the Riad is so pretty. The staff were excellent , especially Mustapha and only too happy to help us with any questions. The breakfast was very nice, orange juice , mint tea, coffee, yoghurts, Moroccan pancakes, eggs, pastry , toast, there was plenty! We really enjoyed the terrace roof Also ! We both had a massage with essential oils and it was Devine !
