Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwedenThe description was not that accurate as the described indoors swimming pool cannot be used. The water is cold and it is does not seem being taken cared properly in order for people to swim in it. The breakfast was nice and served to you but it was not always fresh and there was not a selection.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They did everything to accommodate all of our requests. All of them were very polite, respectful and professional. The facilities were located very central but still so quiet and safe.

GermanyIt is a little secluded so if you‘re arriving in the evening , then a guide from the hotel is not a bad idea for the first time. The Taxi only takes you so far and then you have to walk 7 mins.
Nice quiet place, close to centre. Breakfast included. Spacious rooms. Very helpful and friendly staff.

United KingdomThe shower head wasn’t working properly but an easy fix so not a big deal.
Great value. Very nice Riad and very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice food. Very comfy beds. The property location is only 10 minutes from main square and 2 minutes from medina. It’s a little hidden through small streets but safe area. 5 minutes away from spot where you can get taxis. Hamza is being amazing and helpful the whole way through. Great service.

Spainit was sometimes hard to find someone from the hotel to just ask for recommendations etc. also unfortunately the wifi doesn’t really work.
nice little riad. We found the location ideal as it was walking distance to the souq but still in a quiet area of the medina. The staff was lovely and overall a great place to stay when you want to visit Marrakech

United States-AC is not very strong. Not too bad in winter, but maybe when it's warmer, it could be an issue? But not a problem for us!
-Super friendly staff! Hamza was very helpful, friendly, and easy to communicate with. He gave us advice on how to avoid scams, places to visit, and helped with coordinating taxis and porters. After our first night, we also got upgraded to a bigger room because there was space - what a treat! The lady who prepared breakfast was very sweet! Unfortunately, we weren't able to communicate much (my French is limited), but she was helpful and remembered our drink preferences, which was a nice touch. -The terrace is relaxing and cute! That's where you have breakfast. -We didn't use the spa service, but heads up that you need to let them know I'm advance so they can warm everything up. -Could be a pro or con depending on your preferences, but it's a little bit of a walk from the busyness of the souks. We liked that it was close enough to everything, but not so out of the way.

IrelandExcellent experience. The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious. But above all, the team was very kind and friendly, they welcomed us very well with all the recommendations and were always attentive to what we needed. Thanks to the whole team for that, I recommend this Riad. In addition, we felt safe at all times in that area.

United KingdomThe Riad was a bit tired. Its Spa features were limited. We had a a massage which was excellent but other Spa features were not at all attractive. The bedding and towels would be more attractive in white. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were lumpy and the cushions were also unattractive.
Breakfast was very good. All the staff were friendly and efficient

CanadaVery tiny back routes to get to it, not well signposted and very tatty and run down part of town outside on approach. Security wasn't the best - safe in room not open and poor/loose fittings on doors and windows could easily be opened by someone wanting to get in. Also 2 padlocks were the same so me and another guest could open each others rooms (I had mine changed). Internet went down and is a bit hit and miss which caused problems as I couldn't get booked in or print boarding pass.
Very quiet and peaceful. Hamza especially and the other staff were very nice and helpful. Nice big shower and a good spread for breakfast. Comfortable room and bed, if a bit dark.

SpainThey don't state the Riad is located in a remote narrow street not accessible by car. There is a 15 minutes walking in a total darkness which I did at night. I feared for my life completely lost in those streets. Also breakfast very basic. The straw that breaks the camel's back is the cleaners either stole or threw away my airpods Pro while I was having breakfast. I will never know what happened as the management never got back with a proper answer or refund what is the damage. Definitely much better places to stay than this.
Very basic

SpainThis wasn't an issue for me, but there are two house cats in the riad which may cause some issues for people with allergies. Due to the indoor swimming pool there was a slight smell of damp, but this didn't affect my stay. Just a heads up, the riad is hidden in the backstreets near the medina which may seem intimidating for people travelling to Marrakesh for the first time. Look out for an orange camel sign which indicates where the riad is.
Although the riad is in the heart of the medina, you can barely hear any noise, it's very quiet and peaceful. Abdo was extremely helpful and was able to print out our boarding passes for us (you can't use the electronic boarding passes at Marrakesh airport). Overall it was a pleasant stay.

United KingdomThey tried to scam us into paying a second room fee for the night as they claimed they haven’t received the money from booking.com. They told us we need to pay again and then sort it ourselves through booking.com. We told them it was their issue to solve with booking.com as we have already paid. My partner then spoke to the manager who magically said the money has just come through from booking.com. We felt that they were taking advantage of the fact we had just been through a very stressful situation with a flat tyre, and knew they had a chance of us just giving in and paying again. The room was very old fashioned and no towels or soaps were provided.
Host was kind and helped us bring our luggage from the car to the property.

SwedenAppalling customer service from Hamza, the person in charge, who didn’t complete the check-in formalities on arrival and sent Abduraman at 11.30 pm to our room when we were fast asleep to collect the tax charges of 5€ plus our pending food bill of 14€. Please note that the room charge was already paid in full before arrival. When asked if we could pay the next day at check-out (as it is common practice in most hotels based on our traveling experience), we were rudely treated and denied our request on the grounds that there would be no staff available at 9am (which was actually not true). When asked if we could pay by card he insisted that it wasn’t possible. We asked to speak with the manager and we were aggressively verbally treated and were asked to leave the premises at midnight by Hamza if we didn’t pay right then (which we anyway never disagreed on). They also asked to keep our passports as deposit until the morning. We have never been to a such a shockingly inhospitable property in 20 years of traveling. By far, the worst customer service we have received in our lives.
Location and ground staff (cooks, cleaning staff and nightwatchman) who were very kind and helpful.
