Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandI should make an investment with decent mattresses and toppers ! Also, some of their appliances were not working just a bit of a pity for a place that just with a little door a little bit better
We like the location and also it’s a very typical place for a short day in the Medina of Marrakesh

United KingdomThe beds are extremely hard. Very different to home.
Excellent family-friendly riad. My daughter is 4 years old and was treated like a queen. Swimming pool that we could use early morning to later at night. Roof top terrace that was shaded for my daughter, my pal and I or ability to lie on sun loungers. Room was gorgeous, clean and had everything you needed. They accommodated my request for the room with a separate section like a 2nd room for our party which I was so grateful for. Breakfast was out standing. Pancakes for my fussy daughter and some morrocan trad food items and fresh fruit, coffee etc. Perfect start to the morning. And lastly, the staff were extremely tentative helpful and caring! Every staff member greated us and were warm to us throughout the visit. They cared that you had a great time.

United KingdomI visit Marrakech 4/5 times a year, so I do know Riad’s very well. The breakfast was poor, not the usual standard you normally get from other Riad’s. More of a personal feedback; the architecture is super pretty but the table cloths throughout are weird! Only a small detail but it ruins the aesthetics of the riad. To many I’m sure this won’t matter!
Mohamad was such a lovely host, he was super charming and it felt like home. The housekeepers were also super friendly & nver let us go without water!

United KingdomMe and my friends would come late at night and we had to wake them up again & again to open up the door, but the staff always did without any complaints, just felt guilty about ruining the sleep. Would have preferred if we could come in without disturbing anyone, but I guess that is the case for all Riadhs.
The Riad is absolutely beautiful. It's a serene and relaxing place right in the centre of Old Medinah. Mourad was always there to help and accommodated our needs as efficiently as possible and he always went above and beyond to help out. I would definitely recommend this place, someone looking to stay right in the heart of Marrakech but also relax.

United KingdomLike most Riads noise travels easily and if other guests don't respect the peace of others when returning to the property can be annoying, not a reflection on the staff who were very respectful. Meal a little disappointing.
Beautiful Riad , lovely room. Friendly staff . Nice and peaceful but just a few steps from the busy streets. Nice breakfast.

United KingdomWe thought the Riad was a little tired and in need of some new furniture. Plants around the small plunge pool need some TLC or replacing.
Breakfast was good. Located in the heart of the Medina. Easy walk to Souks

United KingdomPool was ingested! Staff changeover on last day seemed to affect the breakfast service. Items missing and had to repeatedly request bread. No hot food options. A small gripe however as everyone was so nice!
Beautiful Riad. Fabulous oasis of peace in the midst of the hubbub and chaos of the souks. Wonderful staff especially Khalid who was super helpful and breakfasts were excellent and plentiful. So many little touches that added up to a comfortable stay. The Riad app was very useful we highly recommend downloading it.

United KingdomRoom on third floor is small, uncomfortable and basically part of an inter connecting room. We complained and were moved to a better room. The reclining Buddha by the pool is incongruous. Hard mattresses. Soft furnishings are looking tired.

United KingdomI would recommend booking a taxi through the Riad as someone will take you to the Riad as it will be difficult to find, but this would apply to other Riads too.
All the staff were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was any trouble for them. We liked the location, which was about 12 mins walk to the square. The room was spacious and clean with hot running water for showers. There are restaurants and shops within walking distance of the Riad.

SwitzerlandHonest review about our 3-night stay here. We arrived, and the information given was very limited about breakfast, cleaning, etc. Only a map with the main attractions and the location of the Riad was handed out. The rooms don't really match with the pictures online. We booked via booking.com, and there are the same pictures, but in our Room Vanilla, the description doesn't consist of all points and rooms displayed. The so-called Member of Staff who took our luggage from the Main Street (passable by car) to the riad seemed to be a guy who offers that type of service seperately. He expected to get paid; our point that we paid extra money for the tourist tax while the Riad staff had no change wasn't good enough for him, and he got rude. The staff, in general, is very friendly. Due to the status as a chain of several riads, I expected more experience in hospitality and better process management (towels were missing on the first day, SafeLock wasn't properly locked after the second day (forgotten by the housekeeping), etc. The doors are the worst, very noisy in the night, and you hear the entrance open and close all day and night, people talking to each other as if they are at the room's door. Unfortunately, the mattresses are very hard. The positive points: The rooftop is very nice with sunrise viewing, and the breakfast is great.

NetherlandsOur room was quite small for the size of the average rooms that I saw in the Riad and for the price we payed.
Everything went as expected and even beyond. The riad is spotless as it looks in the pictures. The staff ensures all your needs and requirements are covered. From the breakfast to the local advice given, all they care is for the hosts to have the best experience. I would like to highlight Mourad a d Mohamed: both took the best care possible of us.

PortugalOur room was on the ground floor, right at the inner courtyard, so the privacy was low and the noise level high. Some of the breakfast tables were right next to our bed, so from 8 AM it was impossible to sleep. Even though the Riad was 100% safe and the staff were around at all times, we could not lock our bedroom door from the outside. The toilet was not clean when we arrived.
Good location in an alleyway near the Medrasa, the Souks, etc. The staff was always nice and easygoing. The room was spacious and divided in three rooms: living area, small bedroom and spacious bathroom (with bath and shower). The decoration was simple but tasteful. The Riad is pretty and has a very nice rooftop, with views over the city.
