Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing. A great find!
A lovely riad, staffed by a lovely team, in a great location. Beautiful building, a huge room with a shower big enough for six, a terrific breakfast that would feed three, and a gentle atmosphere with all the delights of Marrakech just a ten minute walk away. Highly recommended… I know that I’ll be back!

United KingdomJust a bit of advice to travellers. Accept the offer from the Riad to arrange a taxi. They will meet and greet you beautifully and ensure you find the Riad with no fuss.
Everything from here is walkable Staff could not be more attentive or kinder Staying in a Riad like this is definitely the way to see and experience the real Marrakesh

SpainNot much. The room was good. The price was similar to the other riads we stayed in but the overall quality was a notch below. Still, I'd recommend the place just because of how great the staff are.
Staff --abdul, Latifa, Michele, and another nice man whose name I did not get-- were extremely friendly and helpful. Location is fantastic, next to Mallah square, which is not as wild as the other areas, yet very well connected.

United KingdomThe staff are very friendly. Especially Michele who looked after us in the evenings and welcomed us on the first night. He was a great help and made us feel so welcome and safe. We found it hard to find when we first arrived as the taxi driver gave us some directions in broken english which were wrong or we picked up wrong. We arrived at night and went off the square through in to one of the market places after everything had closed for the night. We did not feel very safe here as it was our first night and we had so much anticipation from all the stories we had heard. If only we new that the Riad was practically on the square (down a small lane) just next to "le tanjia" restaurant. After this first adventure everything felt a lot safer and we settled in with help from Michele. Breakfast was as described and the staff were always very nice and prompt with it. The terrace on the roof is a beautiful little haven. Was great to experience a Riad rather than a hotel. I think my experience of Marrakech would have been lessened so much without the Riad experience.

SwitzerlandThe entrance passage to the Riad is very dark, at night it looks dangerous but it is not.
The decoration, design and cleanliness of the Riad as well as our room were impeccable. They take care of every detail and we were always treated kindly. It made us feel like we were in a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was amazing with a great variety of choices, the staff was always polite and helpful.Totally recommended.

United KingdomReally hard beds and pillows sadly. Some people may love that. Our room on the ground floor suffered from a bit of damp so windows kept open and and dehumidifier kept on. Views from the roof not great as tumbled down houses around the back. And the swimming pool is really just a plunge pool. But I guess would be good for a dip on a hot day.
Incredibly central hidden down a tiny alley which at first seemed a bit unsafe, but everyone was so kind. Staff could not be better. Superb breakfast on the upstairs terrace. Helpful info about the area and trips etc. Lots of character within the Riad. Straight out the door you are onto the main shopping alleys to the square and next to the Bahia palace and Jewish quarter. Quiet. Sunbeds and parasols and even spare hats to borrow.

TurkeyNo bum gun, very uncomfortable bed (please change your beds). Breakfast also needs some attention. We had two type of jams and Croissant that's all. Those are the problem can be fixed very easily.
Staff , especially Rıda and other young lady. We felt like home. Decoration is awesome, high ceiling and old style bathroom and room decoration is great details. Location is top notch, very quiet silence Riad in Marrakech. If we go to Marrakech again we will definitely stay in this hotel again.

United KingdomThe only thing I’d suggest is that the creams and lotions provided in the shower had labels as we weren’t sure if things were for your hair or body but this is a really minor thing to point out :)
We were very pleasantly surprised with how beautiful our room was. The breakfast was also great, staff very friendly and helpful and the room was cleaned to an impeccable standard every single day. Air con worked great and it was also in a handy location. We were a bit unsure when we first arrived as the Riad is just off a very busy street but once in the Riad it’s like its own peaceful sanctuary. The rooms as well were super quiet.

IrelandReally, nothing. Just don’t use the beautiful shower lotions to wash your hair, though 😆
Firstly, the people. Michele and the team are so welcoming and attentive to your needs, and will readily share their local knowledge (as well as ask for your own recommendations to pass on). Secondly, the Riad. We booked two rooms and they were both immaculately kept & cleaned, extremely comfortable (with AC) and each individually characterful. The building as a whole is an interior design gem and an oasis of calm (I’m sitting with my feet in the pool, but the shaded terrace is another blissful refuge from the midday sun). Thirdly, the food. The breakfast is not to be missed (and, as it’s served to 11, you don’t have to choose between it and a lie-in, either). Delicious and generous, it will set you up for the day in the best way. Finally, the location. Just off a relatively quiet square, you are away from the tourist throng, but also only three or four minutes walk from where the excitement lies. The riad is well-signposted and, although the short alleyway not well lit, there are stores along it and quite safe.

BrazilI never do tips when I go to hotels, but at Riad Terra Bahia I loved the service so much that I gave 10 Euros for each employer. I traveled with my 11 months baby and all her clothes were dirty, I comeback from a tour and they washed her clothes without me ask or without I expect that.
