We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesBeautiful and cozy riad in the heart of the Kasbah district, with amazing hosts who treat you like family. It truly feels like coming home—and I only stayed one night! Sandra went out of her way to make sure I arrived safely and made me a delicious tea, and even helped arrange my early morning ride to the airport. She also booked a dinner reservation at a great nearby spot. Next time I’m in Marrakech I’ll definitely come back and stay longer. Thank you!

United KingdomOur stay at Road Tifawt was truly exceptional, and I cannot recommend it highly enough! We visited Marrakesh for a short trip to celebrate a friend’s 30th birthday and ring in the New Year, and Sandra, the lovely host and owner, made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Sandra’s warmth and attentiveness set the tone for our stay. She was so friendly and informative, giving us fantastic recommendations for restaurants, must-see sights, and even practical tips like the best taxi app to use. As a group of young women, we felt incredibly safe and well cared for—Sandra genuinely looks out for her guests, which made our trip so much more enjoyable. Sandra and her team, especially Nadia, created such a welcoming atmosphere. Their hospitality went above and beyond, making us feel completely at home in their stunning Riad. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, and so comfortable. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the Kasbah area and within walking distance to the Medina, making it easy to explore the city. The Riad’s proximity to these key areas, paired with Sandra’s expert guidance, allowed us to make the most of our short trip. If you’re heading to Marrakesh, especially as a first-timer or with friends, Road Tifawt is the perfect place to stay. Sandra and Nadia are a dream team, and the experience they provide is second to none. I can’t wait to return!

United KingdomClean, welcoming, beautifully decorated, and really comfy beds. The airport transfers were smooth and easy. The host Sandra and Nadia were both wonderful and friendly, they gave great recommendations and very responsive with communicating. The Riad is in a nice location in Kasbah, outside the main hustle and bustle of the central Medina but still only a short walk to all main sites and attractions.

United KingdomThis riad is a bit small meaning it can be prone to being noisy but all the guests were very considerate when we were there so it wasn't an issue for us at all and I think this is pretty common with most small riads in Marrakesh. The room is on the smaller but as we used it mainly for sleeping in rather than relaxing, this didn't bother us and again is typical of many riads. .
A super cute little riad in a fantastic location in Kasbah within walking distance of the Medina but outside the hustle and bustle in a lovely neighbourhood with friendly locals. However the star of this accommodation is the exceptional warmth provided by the host Sandra supported by her friendly and capable staff member Nadiya. Sandra, the French owner, was an absolute treasure. She was communicative from before we arrived to check about transport from the airport (which she then arranged for us thankfully) and throughout our trip she was always there to welcome us when we stepped through the door and wave us off every morning when we left. She helped us with recommendations, bookings, printing passes etc and always on hand on WhatsApp. The simple breakfast was a lovely touch comprising fruit, cake and breads with butter and jam as well as juice and hot drinks. This Riad is much more akin to a homestay than a commercial accommodation... You get to feel fully included into Sandra's home and she looks after your every need while here. If you want anonymity and minimal host contact, then this Riad is not for you, but for a cosy, homely, well located accommodation filled with personal touches, this Riad is simply perfect. We are so glad we found it, as we had the most wonderful experience

Me and my husband recently had a fantastic experience in Marrakech that we have to share with you. We stayed at Riad Tifawt from 19 Feb to 21 Feb 2024, and we have to say that the hospitality of our hosts blew us away, Sandra Marques and her assistant Nadia. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel like we were part of their family. It was indeed a heartwarming experience that we will never forget. The rooms at Riad Tifawt are excellent. They were spotlessly clean, comfortable, and cosy - just what we needed after a long day of exploring the city. And the food? Wow. Nadia prepared the most delicious breakfasts and dinners that we have ever tasted. Every meal was prepared with so much love and care, and we felt so lucky to be able to enjoy them. If you plan a trip to Marrakech, I highly recommend staying at Riad Tifawt. You won't find better hosts or a more welcoming environment anywhere else. It's the only place I will stay when I revisit Marrakech, and I know you'll love it too. ❤️🙏🇲🇦🇬🇧🌅👍😊

This was a really amazing place to kick start our vacation. We got exceptional customer services, very neat and peaceful environment in the medina. The room was cleaned and arranged every day more than once. We got assistance for everything we needed from booking taxis, activities and good recommendations from Sandra, she is totally amazing and really kind. Nadia prepared world class dishes for us which tasted so good. Sandra also allowed us to leave our luggage in the Riad after checkout and complete our activities which came in very handy. I totally recommend .!

CroatiaThe breakfast wasnt really big.
Sandra is an amazing host, very dedicated to the riad and its guests. She gave us some great suggestions on what to visit and where to eat. We had all we needed, Sandra even gave us water for free. If you need to exchange money, definitely ask Sandra because she exchanged euros for us at the exact exchange rate. We didnt really get to talk to Nadia, Sandras assistant, because of the language barrier but she was also very sweet. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, the room was cleaned every day. It was warm and the air wasnt stuffy. Breakfast was delicious and varied from day to day. We also had tea, coffee and fresh orange juice. Location is excellent, the riad isnt hard to find and we memorized the path to the riad on the first day. Its 15 minutes away from Jama El Fna, the main square. It was a great experience and we really felt at home. If we visit Marrakech again, we would definitely stay at this riad.

United KingdomIt would be nice to have a reasonably priced menu for residents. There was a fancy menu for special occasions and for non residents but this was out of our budget so we always ate out. It would have been nice to eat at the Riad but we just could not afford to. It was way cheaper outside. This was a real shame.
Sandra and Nadia were very warm and welcoming. Sandra was happy to give us directions and ideas of where to go and what to see. I enjoyed sitting with them in the evening chatting.
