Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Netherlandsthey offered us the contact with a taxi that picked us up at the airport and guided us straight to the riad, then at the riad they welcomed us with moroccan tea and biscuits. The staff made sure we had everything we needed at all time. They allowed us to store our luggage while we explored the city on the day we checked out.

DenmarkThe location - yes it’s central and close to the main square but the taxi can only meet you at the nearest round about which is like a 5mins walk. The building has no lift so if your room is on top floor and you have big luggage’s you need to consider this. We had help from the staff and it was very nice of them. Booking taxi through the hotel cost 5euro more than some other riad but the staff will help you will luggage and send you to the roundabout.
The spacious room and attentive service! We were given advice when we checked in, of what to watch out and some recommendation. We had a very spacious room and it was absolutely value for money.

The rooftop is a must for a sunny breakfast, which is also very delicious. Location is 2 min walk from the taxi drop off. 1min away from shops and a lot of restaurants.

IrelandAll it is perfect
Amazing place, amazing location, just perfect few minutes from the main plaza and at the same time very quiet and very safe. It was three days of family holidays, first time in Marrakesh and I don’t have enough words to thank the staff in the Riad. Abdul was really amazing, helpful and really give to us very warm welcome to this lovely city. He really help us even before we reach Marrakesh, and once there he was always arranging everything and masking sure that we will enjoy and we will be safe, and at the same time he really showed to us how amazing people they are. Of course I want to say thank too to Fatima ( very nice cooker and very friendly), and Ibrahim (night staff) and very helpful too all the time. THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL FOR MAKING US TO FEEL LIKE HOME.

ItalyThe riad is great. Its terrace, the common area, the details in everything of its architecture, from the wooden doors to the carved frames. The location? Perfect. In the middle of the souk, but in a quiet and silent small street away from the crowd. The cleaniless is superb, the smell entering both the riad and the rooms is great. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is very clean. And then Inrahim and Abdu...what to say? They are so welcoming and caring! They let us leave our backpacks in the riad and let us stay in the beautiful inner garden waiting for your taxi to get to the airport (for like two hours). I wish I could stay here for another week, HIGHLY recommended

SpainThe only small drawback was the breakfast—it had too many sweet options. I usually don’t eat cake or crêpes with Nutella for breakfast and would have appreciated healthier choices or more traditional Moroccan options.
I stayed at the Riad for two nights at the end of February. I loved the location—it's very easy to access Jemaa el-Fna, but not too deep inside the medina, allowing for a break from the intensity. It’s also very close to the Mellah, the Jewish neighborhood, where there is a main taxi stop for the airport and other destinations in Marrakech. The street where the riad is located is lined with other riads and feels very safe, even at night, which is important as a solo female traveler. The rooms are nice and spacious, with everything you need. There is daily cleaning service, which was great. The rooftop is really charming, and the staff was incredibly kind, as is often the case in Morocco. They spoke several languages and always made sure I was comfortable.

Riad Tizgui is a hidden gem in the heart of Marrakech. From the moment you step inside, you are embraced by a warm, authentic atmosphere that makes you feel at home instantly. The personal approach sets this riad apart—here, you are not just a guest, but truly treated like family. The service is exceptional; nothing is too much trouble, and everything is done with genuine care and a welcoming smile. I have stayed in hotels across many countries, but Riad Tizgui surpasses them all. It’s not about luxury; it’s about hospitality in its purest form. If you want to experience real Moroccan cuisine, dining at the riad is an absolute must. Fatima is a wonderful person who ensures that you want for nothing. Her cooking is simply outstanding—the best Moroccan dishes, prepared with love and expertise. Riad Tizgui is more than just a place to stay; it is an experience that stays with you. A haven of peace and warmth in the heart of a bustling city. I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for true Moroccan hospitality.

United KingdomNothing…. It was excellent
“ Excellent “ We stayed at the Riad Tizgui twice during our trip to Morocco recently Fabulous friendly genuine atmosphere & real home from home experience during our stays , excellent breakfast each morning that we really enjoyed as it changed a little each day . Our rooms had everything we needed, nice clean beds & ample space for our stay , bathrooms were perfectly functional with a rustic feel , hot powerful shower too. The riad location was perfect just a few little alleyways from one of the main streets into the square. Also easy walk from the taxi area less than 2 mins if using your own transport to airport or train station. The Riads management team excelled in all areas & hugely made our stay happy & comfortable. We really enjoyed our Stay & will return in the future.

BrazilNothing really, but on the evening of our arrival, there was a bit of a mix up with the size of the beds we had requested but this was soon solved. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Riad Tizgui.
Perfect location, close to the main square and to all the hustle and bustle and still very quiet. The staff is very friendly and Ibrahim goes out of his way to make your stay even more pleasant. The room had heating which came in very handy since it was surprisingly cold the days we were there. The beds are firm (not hard) which I appreciated since I have back problems. The showers have piping hot water!!! Lovely! I recommend you request airport pickup – the riad can be difficult to find the first time round. And the arrival dinner was delicious, although be reminded that alcohol beverages are hard to find in Marrakech, and when you do, are frightfully expensive.
