Huge shout out to Hamid and Zara! The kindest people on the planet! Always smiling and happy to help! Organised out trip to the dromedaries and horse rides at the Ranch Diabat, where we saw the most beautiful sunset! The King Suite overlooking the ocean was unique and full of character. Coming in and out of the Riad felt like home, with Hamid and Zara welcoming us every time! Their recommendations for local restaurants and real traditional experiences around the Medina were always in spot! We always knew where to go! This is definitely a must if you’re ever in Essaouira!!

It was difficult to get to to the restroom at night because of the stairs . But we managed and wouldn’t have changed a thing ! Just perfect

Clean, amazing considerate hosts, they were super hospitable, helpful and made my stay super comfortable. Very clean, beds comfortable. Stayed before and after my riding trek and was super happy I stayed here 10/10 recommend and great location

This is a good choice in Essouria (sorry about the spelling!). It is run by a lovely, very helpful couple. It is clean, simple accommodation at a good price.

Hamid and his wife Zara were incredibly welcoming into their home, such lovely kind people, very characterful Authentic Riad, with amazing views from our room and balconies, steep spiral stairs into bedroom area, bed and bathroom basic but clean and excellent value

People with Mobility issues may struggle with stairs and spiral stairs

Beautiful little Riad in the heart of the Madina. The couple that run it were extremely helpful when we arrived, giving us a map and pointing out key spots and places to go, eat etc. the breakfast was lovely but we did also go out a couple of days with nice cafes close by. The rooms were cleaned and tidied every day and the bed was very comfy. Would 100% stay here again when I return.

The staff that is the owners and others were exceptionally warm hearted and well travelled themselves.

Everything! The hosts were amazing and very kind and friendly and accommodating, especially to my husband who is recuperating from back surgery. They went out of their way to help him. The hosts also provided a map and took the time to point out places to eat and things to see. We were welcomed with delicious tea and cookies. I highly recommend staying at this Riad. It’s clean and beautiful and in a great location. Will stay again definitely when we come back to Essaouira. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

This was a very friendly and nice place. We really loved our stay there.

Fantastic location with the medina, restaurants & cafes & beach beside you. Everything is a very easy short walk away. Cash only, payable on arrival. Breakfast offered for €7. Rooms are typical Riad style - small courtyard when you enter, comfortable rooms with TV & private bathroom, no windows for natural light. Rooms very clean & cleaned daily. Very safe & quiet Riad. There is a roof top terrace with seats & a stunning seaview. The couple that run this are very knowledgeable & helpful. They provide you with a map of the area when you arrive & share recommendations of places to eat & drink & transport. The offer great advise on any question you have without being intrusive. They have genuine hospitality nailed!
