Everything was just fine

Great Riad to stay in Fès. The property manager Youssef was amazing. He was proactive to check the arrival and offered help to easily find the address. He personally came to pick us and was very kind to brief about the city, what to expect, where to go etc. The property was fantastic, very clean and gave authentic Riad feel. Highly recommend

The staff was really kind. especially the owner of the riad youssef. He helped us a lot and explained a lot. The riad is very beautiful with a stunning view and also the rooms are beautiful.

It was a really nice experience and there are no major things to criticize.

Everything was fabulous. Jouseff arranged trips, tours, dinners and just relaxing at the Riad. He was a fabulous host and made our time in Fes really enjoyable. Highly recommend!!!

The view was amazing and the cleanliness and the customer service was great especially the lad name Yusuf

Nothing I can thing about

I was so excited to stay at the Riad Zaya and the pictures did not disappoint! One of the most beautiful places we have stayed for the value of the money. It was a short walk to the gate of the Medina when we had to meet up with a driver. The rooms were super clean, the breakfast was great, but what will bring us back again is the staff. Our host, Youssef, took wonderful care of us. He helped with reservations, tours and even cooked us dinner. We now have family in Fez!

The riad was exactly as it was pictured. The staff were very kind and helpful. Yousef who welcomed us and looked after us during our stay could not do enough for us. Yousef helped us when we were lost, gave us recommendations, and explained the history of the city. The breakfast was amazingly fresh and delicious. Nice, safe, and clean location in walking distance to the old medina . I would highly recommend Riad Zaya Fes and would happily stay there again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Fes, and I can confidently say it’s the best place to stay in the city! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the manager, Youssef, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. He personally greeted us, shared incredibly helpful insights about the city, and provided thoughtful recommendations that made our exploration of Fes so much richer. Youssef’s hospitality, kindness, and willingness to assist with anything we needed truly set this place apart. The room was simply perfect – spacious, cozy, and beautifully bright, it felt like a home away from home. Everything was impeccably clean, the shower worked flawlessly, and the Wi-Fi was reliable throughout our stay. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the old medina, immersing us in the vibrant atmosphere of Fes while still offering easy access to a nearby parking area, which was very convenient. This hotel is a gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fes. You will not be disappointed – it’s an exceptional experience from start to finish! Clean, accommodating, great location, felt at home, excellent service

We absolutely loved our stay at Riad Zaya in Fes. The location is amazing—tucked away in the medina but easy to access and close to everything. The riad itself is spotless and beautifully maintained. Youssef was incredibly welcoming and hospitable—truly a rockstar! He made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The entire staff was attentive, kind, and made our stay extra special. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed delicious, home-cooked dinners on the rooftop each evening. The highlight was definitely the lamb tangine —our favorite meal of the trip.

We loved our stay at Riad Zaya. The rooms were large and very comfortable, the panoramic views across all of Fes were fantastic, especially at sunset from the rooftop terrace. Great location, generous breakfast, easy walk to centre of the Medina. We gave Youssef, the manager, a new nickname – “Useful”, because he provided so much excellent information, helped with any questions, and nothing was ever a problem. He really made us feel at home and helped to make our stay extra special. We would highly recommend Riad Zaya to anyone travelling to Fes.

Youssef the manager is fantastic, what a guy! We arrived late as our flight was delayed, he arranged dinner for us, took us there and back, took time to show us the city, he loves where he lives and his job. The Riad is beautiful, peaceful, hot water always, great food.

Location, cleanliness, the fresh and abundant breakfast, the view from the terrace, and Youssef’s amazing hospitality! He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. He was deeply knowledgeable about Fez, always available, and made us and our small senior dog, Barkley, feel at home in the riad. His tips were invaluable to navigate Fez, and his warmth and enthusiasm gave us an authentic cultural experience. No Fez experience is complete without Youssef! Our only regret is that we did not have more time in Fez!
