The location is fantastic, inside the Medina and near to the main square, which has great entertainment at night. The staff were very helpful and carried our suitcase upstairs. The breakfast is very tasty and is inside in the garden with lovely plants and water running...

The main bedroom could have been a little bigger, but it was beautifully decorated. A kettle would be very useful...

Property is fab, bedroom is nice and cushy. the bed is a little too hard but I still slept well. The pool and outside area is also beautiful. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Hard to fault this place

We had such a lovely stay at Riad Zi. Redouane and Hamza made the riad feel even more like home with their warm hospitality and genuine kindness. Hamza is such a gentle and helpful person, and both of them were always ready to arrange anything we needed. They’re also the kind of people you can chat with for hours. They bring so much warmth and laughter to the riad. Their care and friendliness made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

A small cosy place with very welcoming hosts. Thank you to the team for all the care, they were always there to help. As a solo female traveller I felt safe. The room was a perfect size and nothing was missing.

The staff was AMAZING!! They were extremely attentive and helpful anytime we needed them.

The closeness to the square and airport

I was locked in my room for the outside. The communication for the excursions were not clearly coordinated and I wasn’t able to take full advantage of the experience. The paperwork for customs was not complete nor accurate and I was not able to go customs and make a claim.

Excellent property, and excellent staff they were always there to help. They helped us book some really amazing tours that we couldn’t have done elsewhere. The rooms were decorated in a traditional way but lovely and clean, the shower was good too

Nothing, everything was good

It was so calm and quiet in the lovely Riad. Just tucked down an alley near the busy markets, it was a beautiful escape from the heat. We dipped in the pool every afternoon. It was a small riad also, which meant it felt really private. Hamza was such a lovely host, he was very helpful. We would stay here again 100%.

Absolutely beautiful stay from start to finish. Staff were extremely helpful and showed us clearly many of the great things to do around Marrakech. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was well equipped and shower had great pressure. I would only consider staying here when I return to Marrakesh.

I had the pleasure of staying in this riad for the past 7 days, and it was truly a magical experience. The riad itself is stunning, authentic, stylish, and filled with that enchanting atmosphere that gives you the true feeling of Marrakech. Everything was just right: from the beautiful decor to the peaceful ambiance. The location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk from the lively Jemaa el-Fna square, and equally close to a taxi stand. Ideal for easily exploring the city while having a calm, relaxing place to return to. I’ve stayed in many riads before, but this one truly stands out above the rest. It’s the first riad I know I’ll return to without hesitation, it has undoubtedly become my absolute favorite. What makes this place truly special is the staff. Their genuine hospitality, enthusiasm, and dedication turn this riad into something far more than just a beautiful place to stay. Redouane is a true pillar of the team. He’s helpful, attentive, and always available with a smile. His willingness to assist, answer questions, and offer support made my stay smooth and genuinely enjoyable. Hamza radiates a natural kindness that instantly puts you at ease. His calm, gentle personality and sincere approach make him an essential part of the riad's warm atmosphere. The rest of the team also deserves high praise, they all did a fantastic job. Their energy, care, and positive spirit were truly uplifting, and their contagious cheerfulness brought a smile to my face every single day. Together, they are the secret ingredient that makes this riad so exceptional. Thanks to them, I didn’t just feel welcome, I felt genuinely cared for. I already look forward to coming back. This riad is without a doubt a must-stay for anyone who wants to experience Marrakech at its very best.

The only downside was that my stay wasn’t longer. I would have loved to spend more time enjoying this wonderful riad and the amazing hospitality.

I’ve stayed in several riads in Marrakech, but Riad Zi truly stands out as the best of them all. The atmosphere was peaceful and beautifully designed, and the hospitality exceeded all expectations. The entire team was kind and welcoming, but a special thanks goes to Redwan — he was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I will definitely be returning here on my next trip to Marrakech!

Music and noise from rooftop bar next to riad but there is nothing to do about it. It can also be a good thing that you have nice rooftop close by 😉

Bed too hard

Riad Zi was an absoutely fantastic place to stay in Marrakech. Unfortunately our trip was impacted by getting food poisoning prior to arriving here and we spent the majority of the time in the Riad. Redouane was a FANTASTIC host - going out of his way to get us food/water, helping us find pharmacies and checking in on us even once we were back in the UK. It was a really clean and beautiful Riad, tucked away and with friendly staff who greet you on arrival and give you the tips and tricks of how to best enjoy your stay in Marrakech.

There is a bit of a smell throughout the circulation and arrival to the Riad... We had some complications with staff on our day of leaving, which added some chaos to our checkout and getting to our flight on time.

Great location, just in the northern part of the Medina. The room was well designed and the bed very comfy. Great breakfast and helpful staff.

I'd suggest adding some blind curtains to the bedroom windows!
