Great location in the middle of town. The owner was super friendly, came to meet me at the parking and even helped me find a parking space, offered to help me find a place for dinner and seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with guests. Nice breakfast and lots of little seating areas scattered around the riad.

It would be nice to have bedside tables to place a glass of water, devices, etc. on.

Our host, Mohammad, met us at the parking lot and walked us back to the Riad, then served tea and snacks in the lovely common area. We had two rooms for our friends and ourselves and were the only guests, so Mohammad was not there all the time. However, he was very attentive and answered our questions promptly via WhatsApp. After we left, our friend realized she’d left some clothes and Mohammad sent them to our next destination by bus, and with a bag of delicious oranges as well! That’s great service!!

The room is a bit small but let that be a minor thing as we would absolutely stay there again!

The riad is a simple beautiful place where we felt immediately at home! There are cozy benches everywhere to relax. We also felt very welcome and lot of that has to do with the top hospitality of Mohamed, in every sense! Thanks Mohamed!!

The only slight criticism is that the proprietor arranged for with a horse and carriage ride which turned out to be more expensive than we anticipated.

Really lovely picturesque riad with great ambience. Very well located for town centre and souks but still very calm and quiet with plenty of communal areas to relax in or out of the sun. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with pleasant coffee and pastries.

I loved everything about Riad sofa. Booked one night and extended as soon as I checked in. The building and decor is stunning, great breakfast and the staff go above and beyond for service. Each time I asked for recommendations about food, markets etc rather than tell me so would take me there. 5/5 stay

It was a bit hard to find, but once I found it, it was a great and central location. Hot tub wasn’t working when I was there in February 2025, but it wasn’t actually advertised, had just read about it in other peoples reviews.

Beautiful property, so many nice places to sit, beautiful design and traditional architectural details. Was welcomed with tea and delicious biscuits in the beautiful courtyard. The man working there was so helpful, great English, helped with whatever I needed. The room was very beautiful and comfortable, I wish I could have stayed longer!

Absolutely Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place There’s nothing to like about this place — because there’s nothing there. When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk to assist me. Instead, I was met by strangers who didn’t even speak English, only French, and it made communication impossible. It was a horrible, horrible experience. I had no choice but to look for another hotel that same night. Thankfully, I managed to find one at the last minute. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Here’s a more structured Disaster of a Place – Do Not Waste Your Time or Money There is absolutely nothing to like about this place. It’s very dirty, extremely small, and completely lacking in basic facilities. There was no service person available — not even a front desk representative. It was a complete disaster from the moment I arrived. I had to leave and find another hotel the same night. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this property. It’s a total waste of time and money.
