I had a very pleasant stay at this beautifully and thoughtfully decorated Riad. The location is central, yet it is quiet and peaceful inside – a calm retreat from the busy streets outside. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Many thanks to Taha and Youssef for their attentive service and for helping make the stay so comfortable. I would be happy to return.

Excellent location and fantastic staff

Riad is a typical house. Riad Hamza is a small but really confortable building, there was a paryticular care on many points to taste the typical atmosphere for a "morroccan house" but with some "improvements" like air conditioning in rooms really necessary for non local guys. Strongly suggested Essaouira trip, really amazing and wonderful climate!!!

some rooms need a refurbishment, but kindness and availability of the team helped a lot to avoid any stress.

No lift although only 2 floors up. Not accessible by taxi due to location inside old city.

The location was a bit hard to find - no signs till you get there! But it was central to e everything. The breakfast and its location was excellent - Well done there. Taha was a wonderful host and is one of the hotel’s best assets.

Very close to the center, everything is within comfortable walking distance and easy to navigate. Stuff was very friendly and helpful.

Given that it is a Ryad it was a bit noisy sometimes ( maybe a sign of take attention to others calmness would be a good idea ) also some restructions above our room which was a bit of disappointment in the time of relax and rest. The shower curtain is very short and after shower it is uncomfortable to see much water all over the floor.

Our experience at this riad was fantastic, largely thanks to the incredible receptionist, who we believe is named Taj. His hospitality was second to none. He met us at our taxi, guided us to the riad, gave us excellent recommendations for the city, printed our boarding passes, and even arranged our early morning taxi to the airport, complete with a takeaway breakfast. His kindness was truly above and beyond. The riad itself was beautiful and offered great value for the price. Our standard room was comfortable and had all the basics we needed. We found the facilities to be very good and enjoyed the authentic atmosphere of the property. While we were pleased with the accommodation, it was Taj's warm and constant support that truly defined our experience. His exceptional service is the main reason we would choose to return without a second thought. He is a true asset to this riad.

Positioned in the very center of the city, beautiful typical Riad. Wonderful rooftop where is served a tasty and rich breakfast. Super kind staff and oriented to meet the needs of the customers.

Staffs were very helpful and friendly. He told me some advices about tourist spots. Location was very good. I could access to Medina only for 5 minutes by foot and bus station is also near by so easy to go some tourist spots by bus.

Superb location, only a 5 minute walk from the main square. Very quiet when the hustle and bustle of the Medina was only a few steps away.

The staff at the reception was really, really welcoming. They made great recommendations about the city, helped us with taxi bookings, when we left to the desert the boy at the reception prepared take-away breakfasts for us as we were not able to attend breakfast. Plus their humor and friendliness made the stay feel like home. I totally recommend this Ryad as our experience exceeded our expectations.

I would only improve the shower gel bottles as they were having a spray head but the liquid was gel which made it impossible to use the gel without removing the head of the bottle.
