Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWe liked everything about our stay at the Ryad so very happy with that. However, as a bit of advice we will say that Marrakech and the medina, with its warren of alleyways can feel very intimidating at first, especially in the dark. On our first night we didn't know we could walk the ring road. Also be prepared for the crazy traffic! As a woman on my own I would always chose to walk around the ring road to access the main areas through Tinsmith Square and not venture through the alleyways on my own. However as part of a couple it felt much safer. Also, be aware that if you take any directions from a friendly local who comes up to you and offers to help be prepared for the demand of payment. This can be a few dirham, so keep some small change or notes on you just in case it happens and go with the flow. It looks like there are still a lot of people struggling so we didn't take too much offence and put it down to our Marrakech experience.
RYAD RDATE LWALIDINE is a lovely Ryad that has been a family home for more than 100 years it's just inside the Medina, situated off of the ring road so access is easy to access so you don't have to walk through the warren of alleyways to get there, it is situated down a short narrow passage way which is well lit at night. Our host and her staff where lovely, kind and very helpful. The breakfast is very good, with egg, coffee, little spread cheese, French pastries, bread, preserves and coffee, it really set us up for the day. The room is clean and the bed comfortable. The location is very close to Tinsmith Square so within walkable distance to many of the main tourist sites. We would stay agin if in Marrakech without a doubt. Also as an aside we organised taxi's to and from the airport with the Ryad and this made our journey a lot easier, cost at time of writing was 15 euros each way, it's good to take a small amount of euros with you as most places you can pay with Euro and Dirham. Although you can't take Dirham in or out of the country you can access the currency through the many bank machines with a small flat fee payable. At time of writing the Bank of Morocco machines were charging 22 Dirham (approx £1.76p).

United KingdomI'd forgotten that in traditional riads there are little glassless "windows" high up in the walls, so you hear everything 24/7! After a while you get used to it, but at first you feel as if you have little privacy, even though you can lock your bedroom door. I also preferred the rooms on the ground floor, but the whole Ryad is beautifully decorated and well maintained.
The most special thing about the Ryad is manager Moustafa, one of life's angels. I have visited 17 countries so far and never received such a warm welcome, or such kindness. From guiding me to a great local restaurant on my first night, to making me extra strong coffee in the morning and advising me to take a jacket on the only cold day, Moustafa went above and beyond with genuinely warm hospitality. The Ryad is close to the Bahia Palace but quiet and spotlessly clean. The perfect place to rest after a day of fighting your way through the busy souks, all within walking distance.

ItalyNothing bad in our vacation, just few elements to set because we were the first people to occupy a new room they just restyle.
Very nice location, just 800 meters from the most famous square of Marrakech. The hosts are so kind and helpful for any request you could have (activities, hammam, breakfast, ecc.). We had a very positive surprise with this ryad.
