Stunning garden, so peaceful and cool despite severe heat. Loved cooling off the the clean cool pool. Nicest room we've stayed in in Morocco. Fantastic breakfasts. Loved our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ryad Salama! We only stayed for two nights but were treated with such great hospitality and care. Abdul ensured all our questions were answered, all of the facilities were clean, and our room even came with a private sitting room and balcony! We loved the pool and the terrace, and had a great time there. They even packed us a breakfast to-go and arranged a driver for our early train back to Marrakech. But what set Ryad Salama apart from other stays for us was the extreme care for us. I left my passport (!!) behind and Elodie immediately called when she found out. She managed to arrange for a staff member’s brother to meet us in Casablanca and hand us the passport, who then also refused to take any compensation (!!!). The only thing I can do is to thank the entire ryad’s team, Elodie and Mustapha especially, for being such amazing people. We wish them the best and hope that this business thrives because of their kindness!

Love this place, and the garden is like a jungle! Always so nice to chill in the garden after a hot hot exploration in the Medina. The breakfast is super yummy, room is very comfy and clean, and the staff are all really helpful and friendly. I like how the hotel maintain a local vibe/decoration to it :) Definitely recommend anyone visiting Fes!

    Everything was excellent

The architecture and decor were stunning—every corner of the riad was beautifully designed with intricate tiles, arches, and classic Moroccan touches. The central courtyard with a fountain was peaceful, and the rooftop offered breathtaking views of the medina.

Ryad Salama is an absolute gem in Fes! Our room was very spacious, nice and clean. The pool/garden area in the center is beautiful, and they offer optional dinner and complementary breakfast which was great. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. On our last day, we had to leave early before breakfast started so they packed us a to-go breakfast before we left. Overall totally worth it for the price, would come back!

Breakfast starts too late. Needs a kettle for hot water in the room with tea bags and coffee.

All of it, my only gripe and this is a personal preference only. The breakfast start too late for me. And because of that I was without my morning coffee. All they need to make this a perfect boutique hotel is a kettle in the room with tea bags and coffee for their guests. The owner was friendly managers and all the staff was great and reliable. Very peaceful and enjoyable and a perfect location in the Medina.

The location is a bit difficult to get to, although that is the case for most ryads in Morocco. You have to go through the market and different narrow streets.

The room was fantastic and the facilities were beautiful. Also the staff was very friendly and always available. The food was good and overall price was fair.

There is nothing I did not really like and this is just a personal opinion. For breakfast I would have preferred Moroccan food, for instance Moroccan pancakes and mint tea. Also the decoration was not entirely my taste, in the bedroom, it was a mix of French and Moroccan things, which for me, lacked a little bit of authenticity, then again, it is only my opinion, I do not mean it in a negative way.

To begin with, the host Elodie, was exceptional, she was really efficient and she helped me to get picked up from the train station and also she arranged a porter for the distance between the car park and the Ryad. I was able to communicate with her very quickly and it made our arrival so much more enjoyable. The staff that worked in the ryad was kind, reliable, and pleasant, they ensured we had a nice stay. They gave us tea and Moroccan biscuits and were very helpful. The room was huge and spotless, with a beautiful view from the balcony on the green patio and pool. In the room, the AC worked perfectly and it was very relaxing. We had enough towels, which again were clean, the same goes for the bedding, everything was clean and fresh. The ryad itself is quite stunning and it is peaceful, you will be able to hear birds and nothing else. It is also located close to restaurants and shops and it has easy access. We were able to go out at night and have dinner in a beautiful spot, and then just walk back to the ryad.

Riad Salama is literally a beautiful, tranquil oasis within the busy labyrinth of the Fes Medina. We loved the beautiful garden, the birds singing in the trees, the friendly roaming tortoise, and the surprisingly deep refreshing pool. The staff were just amazing & so helpful. I wish I could have just picked up this Riad and carried it with me to all locations in Morocco.

The only thing I did not like about my stay was that it was not longer. We could have stayed at Ryad Salama for a week and will likely do just that next time.

Michel, Elodie and staff at Ryad Salama exceeded all expectations in hospitality, comfort, accommodation and cuisine. From booking, through having to change the booking due to personal schedule conflict to the stay itself, I always had the feeling that the staff at Ryad Salama were ready to do whatever it took for my family to have a wonderful stay in Fès. Je reviendrai certainement!

If we have to suggest something, it would be nice to find also a pair of slippers and a more powerful hairdryer.

There's a beautiful garden in the Riad. It's really stunning. All the staff Is really kind and lets you feel super welcomed. Amazing breakfast. Our room was clean and well decorated, like almost all the Riad. Great attention to all details. Loved it. Probably if you don't force yourself, you would never leave this place.
