Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

HungaryThe hotel is located in a narrow street in the old town of Marrakesh, just a short walk from the center. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely, with coffee, fresh mint tea, and orange juice. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the free Wi-Fi worked well throughout the building. On the day of our departure they kindly kept our luggage until the evening. Thank you very much for the great hospitality!

IrelandThe sink in our room didn't work but that wasn't an issue as you cant drink the tap water. There is only 2 showers and toilets for the whole place, while this didn't cause any issues, it is worth noting.
This place exceeded out expectations - our room was spotless, with a working A/C. Staff were lovely and it was all round very quiet and safe. Location couldn't have been better - located on a side street from the main square, and a corner shop just downstairs for water.

United KingdomNoise of other guests was an issue (ear plugs are advisable). Breakfast was good but an egg or some meat would be a welcome addition. Water pressure in shower poor. Toilet quite small.
Comfortable bed. Air conditioning. Friendly staff (namely Rashid). The ability to book day excursions from the hotel (at cheaper prices than advertised elsewhere). Breakfast was included too. Nice roof terrace. I would stay again here in Marrakech. Only a few mins walk from Jemma Al Fna

PortugalNo air conditioning and it was very hot unfortunately. I understand it is hard for the price but something like a fan would be nice.
Great price-quality ratio. I had a room to myself, it was very clean, and the shared shower was very clean as well. Bed was comfortable

Moroccoevery thing it’s Good , This hotel combines comfort and low prices.
I frequent hotels because I love to travel and have accumulated a significant amount of experience after visiting more than 80 countries. I often find a hotel that combines low prices and cleanliness. Although this is a small hotel, you will find a warm welcome there. Mr. Rachid is humble, cheerful, and helpful. For anyone looking to spend a short time in Marrakech at a low price with impeccable cleanliness, I recommend this hotel, which is very close to Jemaa el-Fna Square.

United StatesWe were in Morocco for 5 weeks and this was the least value to cost we received. This is a hotel not a riad, so there was no tea on arrival and the only common area was the terrace where our room was. There were people talking and smoking on the terrace late at night. Also, their credit card machine wasn’t working on our last day in Morocco. I didn’t have cash. I had to take time on my last day and pay to get money out of an ATM because their machine was not working. The bill was 1126 dirham. I came back with 1120, and the guy at the desk said, no it’s 1126. I had to give him a 200 to get 194 back so that he could have his 6 dirham (about 60 cents). Ridiculous! Also no protein at breakfast, just bread products.
The location just a few minutes from the main square is great. The A/C worked well.

United KingdomNo hot water in one shower (shared bathroom). The room could have had a bit more furniture to put your stuff on. Also, it was noisy but I guess it is because of the way all riads are made, to keep the air flow (?): you can hear everything going on at the riad, like people talking and the woman cleaning/making breakfast. It is on a quiet street though, so not much noise from the outside. If you're sensitive to noise like I am, I advice to bring earplugs.
Beautiful riad, in a very central location. Still, right apart from the chaos of the medina. Very clean as well. Moroccan breakfast served on the terrace was big and very tasty. The room was also nicely decorated. Friendly staff. They also organise guided tours to places like Ourika and Essaouira (unfortunately I had mine already booked before arriving, so I didn't join).

NetherlandsI had been in Marrakech 5 days prior and went to Casablanca by train so it was only for the night before my flight back to Brussels. If you want to stay longer, the room might be a little small for you.
This little hotel is located in the middle of the Medina, very close to the big square. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You get a nice breakfast on the rooftop, included in the rate. They arranged a taxi for me and a guy with a pushcart as the hotel is in a very narrow street. I would recommend this delightful place to everybody, unless you want to remain in your room and watch TV ;-)

United KingdomThis is a budget friendly Riad, in a quiet spot in the middle of the busy medina. You won't miss any sleep. It's safe even for a solo traveller like me. Having breakfast on the terrace was a joy in the mornings, and the ladies who were serving it were very polite. Points for improvement: The shower area needs light. The aircon needs checking. It's cool at this time of the year in the room, but I am not sure in the summer. I would definitely recommend this Riad and would definitely choose Sindi Sud to stay again. Last but not least, I want to thank the staff at the reception who were very helpful and went beyond expectations to resolve my queries.
