Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI didn’t not like anything. Some of the facilities are a little quirky, but then it’s a different country with different ways and styles, it’s part of what makes travelling to new places so unique.
Upon arrival we were met with a very warm welcome and served a delicious tea. The place was very clean, with a lovely fresh scent, and it gave you a feeling of calmness. A nice place to be and I’d visit again ☺️

CanadaThe room and the common area felt a little dark and uninviting.
The location is wonderful - it's both close to the main section of the medina yet extraordinarily quiet.

United KingdomThere are 5 guest rooms around a central shared space in the traditional riad style. This is great and traditional however noise travels easily at night in the property so after 10pm expect to whisper and/or use headphones in your devices.
The riad is within the walls of the medina so it is super convenient for immersing yourself in the souk/old city experience. The street that it is located on is not accessible by car/taxi so expect a three minute walk with your luggage when you arrive.

ItalyThe only minor drawback was the cash-only payment policy, so just keep that in mind.
I had a wonderful stay at this Riad located right in the heart of Marrakech’s bustling market. The atmosphere inside is beautiful and welcoming, with a charming internal courtyard where you can enjoy a delicious breakfast each morning. My room was simple but had everything I needed, and it was clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.

United KingdomInaccessibility for those with mobility issues. Lack of soundproofing to the outside - any sensitivity to noise may be an issue.
The twin room we booked is set up with an integrated toilet and shower cubicle, with curtains for privacy, so certainly more suitable for those very comfortable with each other. There’s also a shared downstairs toilet by the Riad main door. I believe this riad has four guest rooms with communal dining at ground floor and terrace up top. Lovely to enjoy early morning before peak heat. The air conditioning keeps the room bearable in the summer heat, not strong but certainly helpful! The darkened stained glass effect windows may also help keep the room cooler, however the downside is that the room is dark and gets some getting used to! Staff are very pleasant and was always nice to see smiling faces upon returning to the riad. Strong and constant WiFi for mobile phones - a struggle streaming films on laptop. We tried the breakfast for around €5; it was adequate - in line with the price. I feel this riad is ideal for couples or solo travelers and is just a minutes' walk from Mohamed College V (where taxi will drop off / pick up passenger/s) ATM machine is very close by that college, opposite Pikala Rental Bikes. Any luggage will need to be hauled from this spot and the pavement is cobbled stone and narrow! Not far but to a consideration!! The main square 15-minute leisurely stroll from Riad La Lune under the shaded medina market. It should be added that late night pathways may be blocked requiring re-routing and can be overwhelming; to add locals may approach “to help”, often with aggressive tactics if declined—a common scam in Marrakesh. Caution is advised. Overall, this riad met our needs for location (good spot for our base) and price point, and finding the right fit took considerable searching given the many options available.

United StatesSome rooms are pretty small, but great for a single traveller. The suites are very comfortable. The Riad is a bit of a walk from where taxi's can drop people off, so if you have lots of (or heavy) luggage keep that in mind.
Mohammad is such a great host! Suite La lune is a very comfortable Riad. Mohammad had excellent suggestions, including a place for dinner that we returned to multiple nights in a row! He even walked us there!

FranceI have spent a wonderful time at Suite La Lune. Although conveniently located at the north part of the souk and only a few minutes away from the busy Jemma el Fna, the riad is placed in a very quiet area. The bedroom and bathroom were always clean. The 'secret' rooftop is a huge bonus to sit and relax! Mohamed was extremely kind and helpful, always available to give tips on what to do in Marrakech and the surroundings. Lastly, the breakfast was very good and comprised freshly squeezed orange juice, baguete, local bread, jam, butter, coffee, and other things! I highly recommend it 👌

AustraliaIf you are staying in Marrakech for a few days you might want to consider if you want to be in the Medina for the duration. It is very intense and if you go home with the feeling that you've been trapped inside a Arab market for 4 days, well that's because you have 🙂 Some of the smaller rooms have the toilets and shower literally inside the bedroom in an alcove just separated by a curtain. You might want to make sure you're very good friends. If your a roommate if you choose this option.....😬
The location in the Medina was great The staff were friendly and informative. Especially Mohammed. The Riad has extensive communal areas decorated in the traditional style, imclusia.roof terrace.

Poland- rooms are claustrofobic - hard to move; smaller then in description (definetely nit 15m2 but more like 10m2) - shower and toilet idea is crazy (i hate it) and only for truly trusting each other company (look at pics)
clean and renovated, very very kind and helpfull staff, good and tasty breakfast, inner courtyard is so beautiful and big; location is great as you are in centre of medina but it is very quiet
