Perfect position, couple minutes walk to the markets, to the palace, restaurants and many other things. The host Salah was extremely nice, always made sure that everything was ok and gave out some great info regarding where to go for the day, the best restaurants and bars. Everything was nice and clean.

Breakfast very nice! Sanae and Salah are both lovely, welcoming people. The room was cold with AC (essential at this time in Marrakech). The bathroom was nice to use, it smelled good. You can wash clothes for a fee, there's a kitchen with fridge. Very peaceful rooftop and location generally. Easy to get in and out. I couldn't complain at all

No problems,just may be a little difficult to find. I took a taxi from the bus station and tge driver was so helpful and walked with me to find he hostel for the last few hundred yards

Extremely Disappointing Stay – Unsafe Area and Misleading Information Our experience at this hostel was very disappointing, and I would not recommend it, especially for families or solo female travelers. First, the location feels unsafe at night. The hostel is deep in the Medina, with poor signage and no proper directions. We arrived late with children and asked the host several times to help us find the place — he refused, saying it was “only four minutes away.” Thankfully, locals helped us or we would have been completely lost. Second, the conditions of the room were unacceptable: • The room had no window, which was not mentioned on the listing. • The so-cale “private bathroom was too Small. • There was no lighting in the hallways or bathrooms at night, which made it dangerous to move around. Our children had to hold themselves from going to the toilet because it was completely dark. • Mattresses were extremely uncomfortable, and no extra sheets were provided. • The electrical setup was poor and felt unsafe. We were also charged an extra 3% fee for paying with a credit card, which was not disclosed in advance. Due to the darkness and lack of signs, we accidentally touched the wrong room door, thinking it was ours — which caused complaints. This wouldn’t have happened if the hostel had proper lighting and indications. Lastly, the host complained about us having children, saying the hostel doesn’t accept guests under 18. However, we clearly entered the correct number and ages of the children during booking. If children are not accepted, the property should not confirm such reservations. This was our worst experience on Booking. It was stressful, uncomfortable, and nothing like what was advertised. I strongly advise others to avoid this place unless serious improvements are made.

SALAH the receptionist was amazing and super helpful and he was there for me I like hes attitude I only stayed for one night at Sun Hostel, but it was such a pleasant experience! The hostel was easy to access thanks to the door code system, which made check-in simple and flexible. The Wi-Fi was impressively fast — perfect for getting some work done or just unwinding with a movie. One of the highlights for me was the kitchen. It was super clean and well-organized, which made cooking and cleaning up a breeze. You can tell they really care about keeping the place tidy and comfortable for guests. Even though my stay was short, it felt like a home away from home. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m back in the area. Highly recommended!

Everything! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The hostel was clean and well-located, and the rooftop was a great place to relax. A special thanks to Salah and Sanae , they were incredibly kind, helpful, and made the stay even better.

Host Salah was exceptional, facilitated a last minute date change for us when our flight got cancelled and maintained good communication throughout. Our room on the top floor did all it needed to do well at the price point. We found its location practical and fair quieter than some of the other places we stayed in the city. Would definitely return if back in the area.

A few minor maintenance issues that should be looked at, like the shower head wasn’t secure. and perhaps a verbal reminder for people to be conscious of others when late, some people have little regard for that. Should be noted that there are notices around indicating quiet time, so an effort has been made.

Awesome staff. Salah was very friendly and helpful as well as the lady who made wonderful breakfast each morning. Highly recommended booking the Merzouga desert trip through the hostel, was worth it for sure. Great rooftop to chill and dry clothes. Good location.

Wifi would cut out on the occasion in the bedrooms. Showers weren't the best
