This place is perfect for anyone wanting to experience the authentic life of Taghazout. The staff are incredibly friendly, making us feel more like we were staying with family than in a guesthouse. The rooftop is amazing, a vibrant spot to meet other travelers, share stories, play music and soak in the atmosphere

Very central to Taghazout Bay, just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. Great hospitality by the hosts, they were even happy for us to store our luggage for the day, take our towels to the beach and come back for a shower before our flight (and carry our suitcase up the hill to our taxi!!).

Only thing was the bed was just a little hard for me. But I didn’t care because everything else was just amazing and so cheap!

The best part of the property were the owners and staff! Abdollah, Abdel, Mohammed were all so so friendly and made the stay so easy and helpful. We love them! Will be coming back just because of them!

The beach is so close, the staff and manager are so open and making everything to offer you the best experience (tea sharing by night on the rooftop, pool table,…). Thanks again to them we had so good moments together.

Staff was so amazing and welcoming. Thé surf lessons with Abdul were really useful and so much fun, I learned a lot in just one day. At one point they were all booked out so I couldn’t stay longer (my bad for being last minute) and Abdul helped me find my the hostel for a long time even though it was super hidden ❤️❤️❤️ they were so lovely and warm and the rooftop is such a vibe. Wooden bed frames are cozy.

Check in was a bit unorganised but went well in the end.

The staff (Abdullah and Abdel) were excellent. They organised some brilliant surfing for us and were super friendly. The view from the roof terrace is amazing.

Absolutely loved my stay here. The hosts Abdul and Mo, as well as Hakeem were amazing and are great people to be around. The hostel also has a well equipped kitchen and 2 balcony areas/rooftops overlooking Taghazout. Abdul even taught me how to make a real Moroccan tagine. The rooms are also spacious and are cleaned daily. I’ve stayed in a lot of hostels and this is definitely top 3.

Roof was a bit drippy when it rained, although not common in Morocco.

The hosts (Abdul and Mohammed) were incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. They also organised trips for us and provided a lively atmosphere. The hostel vibe was relaxed and the other guests were friendly which made the stay enjoyable.

Had a blast at Golven. Staff was great. Abdula made tea every evening and made sure everyone is in a good mood.

The beds could be comfier but they were adequate.

The hosts were super welcoming and generous. Abdollah and Mohammed made my friend Nick and I feel very welcome, helping us with whatever questions we needed and always offering us tea and food if they were preparing it. They have a connection with a local surf shop which made surfing in Taghazout so easy, cheap and fun. Really really fun and nice staff. They cultivated a fun and family atmosphere. Stunning rooftop views and location. Great kitchen.

Great hostel offering surf gear rental, surf lessons and everything for great price. It’s clean, nice but the best thing is the host - Abdulah was the best host I’ve met on my travels, he is friendly, helpful and will make you the best welcoming tea. If I’m coming back I would definitely stay at the place again.
