The hostel is in the middle of the town so you have to protect ears over the night if you want to have a quite sleep. If you come by car, please come earlier the day to park on the mainroad. Otherwise, it could be overcrowded.

I had a stay for just one night and was able to check in very early. That was great so I had enough time to explore Taghazout during the day. The hostel was almost empty due off-season. Room was okay, clean and absolutely good enough for a longer stay, as well. Staff is very friendly and supportive. The rooftop is very cosy. Breakfast was amazing.

The staff were amazing! Really social atmosphere and made me feel welcome. I met lots of awesome ppl in my few days there. The rooftop area was pure craic every evening playing games and chatting with other travellers. Less than 5 minutes walk from beach which had top class surfing. Honestly, it's one of the best hostels I've stayed in hands down ever!!

The location was very convenient and close to the beach, cafes and restaurants. The staff were very lovely and made sure I was comfortable for the duration of my stay. I really liked the rooftop area and the cute cats and dog.

The property was in an ideal location for surfing, extremely clean and all the staff were so friendly :) There is a great art work, a roof terrace and excellent vibes. Highly recommend staying here.

HIGHLIGHTS; •Supreme location with food shop, surf rental, veggie market, great restaurant and pharmacy all 2 mins away •Surf beach 5 mins walk away (wave quality view of 3 spots is possible from terrace) •Extremely clean, friendly, chill atmosphere in Tayought •Facilities exceptional; hot showers and clean toilets •Meryam is a legend and cares for everyone •Roof terrace- a tower of security, tranquility, debauchery, community and reflection... just depends on the vibe ;) Returning to stay at Tayought with Meryam was such a tremendous pleasure; I was welcomed like family and immediately felt the same feeling of warmth and tranquility there as I had last year! It wasn't a one-off! As ever, the property is kept PRISTINELY CLEAN and bound by an energy of love and care; there's a sense of pride in staying here, and naturally you are compelled to maintain the standard! I found that a wonderful group of people also recognised the perfect ambience at Tayought and we all spent the festive weeks together here and took trips further afield in Morocco, all of us united as friends in our happy home away from home. From the moment I arrived in Tayought to warm hugs, sweet tea and celebratory dancing until the very last delicious mouthful of tagine and tearful sobs as the airport taxi honked outside... the entire visit was a dream I can hardly believe. It might seem unusual to plan an entire three week holiday around one hostel in Taghazout... but Tayought resonates with such a special energy that I have no regrets that I did exactly that. What an extraordinary experience! Planning the next visit already!

I loved everything, there were a few tiny things that could do with fixing up, such as door handles and loose parts etc

The hosts are so friendly and kind, welcoming us with tea and in general just being very helpful and pleasant. The rooftop was a great place to chill out, read, play cards and chat to people. The room was perfect for what we needed and overall it was such amazing value for money.

The entire hostel and the family are simply fantastic. We felt like I was part of a new family; everyone we met was amazing. Every wish was fulfilled, and we had a wonderful time together! The kitchen is fully equipped, so we were even able to cook a Christmas dinner. The best part of the hostel is the cozy rooftop. We enjoyed breakfast there in the morning, took power naps during the day, and played games in the evening. The connection to the surf shop made it super easy for us to rent a surfboard at a very affordable price. Stop searching for other hostels—this is the perfect place to stay! It's truly a hidden gem.

I really enjoyed staying at Tayought Surf House. It is located in a very central location, close to all cafes, restaurants and the beach. I stayed in one of the private rooms which was nicely decorated and spacious. The house is very clean, beautiful atmospheric roof terrace and Lina and her mum made sure i have the best experience in Taghazout. Thank you so so much! I am looking forward to be back.

We came to this hostel after leaving another hostel and it was so much nicer and cleaner at tayought. The entire place was spotless and the hosts were very kind people and even let us store our bags and hangout on the rooftop after checkout. rooftop has nice chill vibes with views of the surf at main Beach.

I can only recommend staying at Tayought Surf House, especially as a solo traveler. You'll meet a fantastic group of people who enjoy doing activities together. Everyone is incredibly welcoming, and the accommodation is lovingly decorated and very clean. The staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I was even allowed to store my surf equipment at the house longer than the nights I had booked, which was super convenient due to the great location near the beach. Highly recommended!
