I really enjoyed a lot during my stay in Surfshub Hostel.Dorm was so clean,bed was comfy and bathroom and the toilet were inside of the dorm and it was so clean and new as well.There was a beautiful rooftop that you can watch sea.The staff Ali and Zekeriya were so helpful,welcoming and nice people.Hostel also arranging the surfing lesson.The meals were delicious also.Totally recommend to everyone!

Leaving the surfshub, it was like leaving your family.

Loved the location and the staff, they always made sure everything was according to my wishes. They made me feel like family. Taghazout and surfshub gained a place in my heart.. i'll be back for sure! Ps: I miss eating the 2am fresh bread with from the bakery below the hostel with jebli (cream cheese from the store).

The aircon didn’t function so if it was much hotter we would have really struggled.

The staff were amazing! Ali helped us so much with recommendations and he would always bring us tea and snacks when we sat up on the balcony.

Unfortunately, the alley in front of the hostel smells quite bad and is dirty. Of course, this isn’t the owner’s fault, but you still have to walk through the unpleasant smell every time you go in or out of the hostel.

Very friendly staff, great rooftop terrace, and a cozy atmosphere The staff was consistently very friendly and helpful. The owner, in particular, is extremely attentive, speaks excellent English, and is always available—whether for questions, transportation, or other requests. He is also knowledgeable about celiac disease and can offer both gluten-free and vegetarian meals at a very reasonable price—a real plus! The location is central, though a bit tucked away—but with Google Maps and a little asking around, it’s easy to find. Check-in and check-out were absolutely smooth and hassle-free. The rooms are small but clean and cozy. The beds were a bit firm, but still comfortable. In the twin room, the bathroom was compact—shower and toilet are not separated, but the space dries quickly after use. The rooftop terrace is especially lovely and perfect for relaxing, contributing to the overall warm and welcoming atmosphere. A truly pleasant stay—highly recommended!

No qualms! Keep in mind it is a slight climb to get to the hostel and no obvious signage!

The hostel manager (whose name I'm forgetting) was always readily available to help or answer questions. Room was decently sized for the duration of our stay, beds and sheets were comfy. Rooftop was fun and spacious. No qualms!

There is a finite amount of hot water for the showers, very finite for a dorm room of 6. The shower is clean and curated. Hard to sleep since it's very close to the bakery.

We unfortunately didn't really get to connect with the other visitors, but that's okay. I also got a bit annoyed that people kept watching videos on their phone aloud at the roof terrace, but that of course has to do more with the visitors than the hostel itself.

The roof terrace was really nice and chill, the food was good and our host was exceptionally kind to us. Beds were comfortable and clean, as were the rest of the facilities. We had one issue where the plumbing caused a bit of an odor in the toilet (we didn't really mind) but the owner was really proactive in solving the issue.

The only thing I can think of is the smell of pipes that sometimes lingers in the bathrooms on the ground floor which is kinda out of their control, but they really tried their best to mask the smell with incense and cleaning it often. If you ever had an issue with anything they'd work to solve it quickly.

I stayed at SurfsHub for 2 weeks and had a very pleasant stay. The staff is exceptional, very attentive and friendly. The place is very clean and they make a great effort to keep it clean. It's very close to the beaches, restaurants, stores, etc. The rooftop hangout area is really comfortable and you can see some incredible sunsets from there. Had a great time.

Great location and good value breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful right form the booking. Excellent support and advice whilst there. Trips and optional sandwich for lunch or evening meal available. Our 3 bed ensuite was perfect for us and we really enjoyed chilling on the roof top terrace.
