How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewA unique experience, with very hospitable and helpful hosts. The food was amazing! It’s simply their home, not a typical hotel, which is a big plus as it allows you to better experience the place and the hospitality of the local community. We arrived by car, and parking was no problem. Close to Souss-Massa Park. We only struggled at night with flies, which are quite common in Morocco and tend to buzz around your ear at night, but that’s just how it is everywhere.

Verified reviewWe had a lovely 1 night stay in Takad with the family, they were all so so welcoming and friendly. It is simple, rustic, authentic Morocco lifestyle. But great adventure and delicious food. Hopefully we will be back to visit the family one day :)

Verified reviewSuch a wonderful welcoming family. They treated us like part of the family and we ate together in the evenings and talked using Google translate to Arabic and a bit of English and French. We found it so interesting to be in a small village and see daily life in Morocco. All the people we met were so welcoming and friendly. It is a beautiful culture and we would love to come back. The landscape was also beautiful and fascinating. For us the weather was perfect and sunny although the locals were dressed up very warmly in March. The family made us lovely food and were helpful with our diets, (I am gluten free and my partner is vegetarian).
There wasn't really anything we didn't like.

Verified reviewReally friendly family run guest house. We arrived around 11 pm, very tired. They made us some refreshing Moroccan tea and made us feel very welcome. Sat on the roof terrace at night listening to the silence of the village and countryside and looking at the stars Breakfast was delicious the next morning
Everything was good

Verified reviewBreakfast was nice, the lady made homemade msemen, being moroccan I appreciated. Also flexibility on the booking, the lady of the house in our few interactions, was nice with us. The man too.
Almost no welcoming whatsoever. Hafida barely said hi, pointed us to our bedroom directly and put the paper on the table that they are supposed to fill so we filled it ourselves. On payment, she gave me the phone when there was a misunderstanding, in an annoyed manner with a hand gesture. Comfort is minimal as I used a bucket with water to wash my hand, there is no pressure on the shower. There is one plug in the whole bedroom. This is a room in a family apartment, on the first floor the rating is overrated by people who never step foot in a moroccan house.

Verified reviewWe received a Whatsapp from the accommodation the day before our arrival. According to the photo, it was the daughter. I was traveling with my 15-year-old son. After landing in Agadir, we bought a SIM card from Inwi right next to the baggage carousel. We then found Takad Dream with the rental car using Google Maps without any problems. Exactly as shown on Google Maps. The man of the house welcomed us. It's practical that he has a very small store downstairs in the house. We bought water and potato chips there. Parking was easy and safe in front of the house. Wifi was available but our cell phone had a faster connection. There is a beach about 15 minutes drive from the house where you can probably surf on good days. The breakfast was exactly as in the photos. We wrote on the Whatsapp number at what time we would like to eat and it was always ready on time. We should mention the roof terrace where we watched the sunset. All in all, a great start to our surf trip to the south. Because you live with the family, you get right into the Moroccan rhythm. The Euro Dirham exchange rate (accommodation is paid in Dirham) was a little in our host's favor, but fully within reason. We also learned our first bits of Arabic from the man of the house. If you are openminded and respectful, I recommend this accommodation 100%
alles gut

Verified reviewIt was a very nice and pleasant stay! What you see in the photos is what you get : ) Nice and helpful family, Clean and comfortable place Delicious food I recommend at least a night here to start to know the culture of Morocco.
As you are the only guest, you will need to say in advance the time that you will return for dinner, but that will only ensure that you will get your meal ready for you, which can be good.

Verified reviewWe stayed with a wonderful family. The hosts were friendly, helpful and served a delicious breakfast. The home-cooked dinners are also worth buying. I bought argan oil, which the hostess produces. During our stay we were at Sidi Toual beach, which is the closest, and Agadir beach. We also visited Taroudant, Tiout oasis and Paradise Valley in the Atlas Mountains. 6 kilometers from the accommodation is the Souss - Massa National Park, where you can admire antelopes, ostriches and gazelles. The weather was perfect, it was sunny but not too hot. In the evening, in the morning and at night the temperatures were more or less 18C - 22C. During the day 26C - 30C. The next time we are in Morocco, we will definitely stay at Takad Dream Rural overnight.
