Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomMy son and I found the room size at the Tempoo hotel just right, quite spacious, and we were not falling over each other's cases. Excellent location to Menara Mall, getting taxi's, and accessibility to other amenities. Breakfast was quite standard, pastries, basic, nothing to write home about, but it did the job for me.

BrazilI paid for 6 nights at this hotel. I was alone. On my first day at breakfast I was very dissatisfied. Very simple breakfast, no fruit options or anything else that might please. For a hotel that claims to be a 4-star hotel, it's just lying. I went to drink orange juice and the restaurant staff told me that I could only have one glass of orange juice per person, even though there was another juice that tasted horrible. I felt frustrated about paying an exorbitant amount and being politicized in the consumption of what I wanted to eat. you can't walk around the pool.
reception and cleaning staff very helpful and polite.

United KingdomPool is very small. Once there are 3 people in the pool area it is crowded. Bathroom needs attention around the shower as it was grubby.
One night stay only having left a riad in the medina. Check in was smooth and efficient. The room was large and clean and came with fridge and complimentary water. Good AC which was essential in the 40+ temperatures, decent gym area. Breakfast service was excellent thanks to kamal and Abdullah who were both friendly and very efficient. Thanks also to the porter who helped me get a taxi to the airport with no problems.

CanadaThe room had a very strong disinfectant smell. I found it overly aggressive. I had to open the windows to air out the room, even if it was very hot outside. I appreciate the need for cleanliness, but perhaps use a different product?
As usual, the Tempoo is good value for money. And as a bonus, even though I had to leave very early to catch my flight, the concierge was able to arrange a breakfast for me in the morning, even outside of official breakfast hours.

PolandI think it's not a 4 star hotel, as it names itself. Old furniture, not the best cleanliness, noise from the street even at night, unsealed window, mold in the shower
Good location close to the railway station, 24hr reception, elevator, towels and shower gel, AC. We arrived late at night but it was not the problem for the staff. The breakfast is tasty and plenty of local products.

GermanyIf you want to go to bed early, ask for a room that does not face news cafe. They are having concerts nearly every night. They do stop, but sometimes only around 23:30.
Five minutes walk from the station, close to Palais de congrès and chamber of commerce. Nice and efficient staff. Several restaurants in the street

SwitzerlandThe beds are in terrible condition. I'm not saying I didn't like the bed, but rather that they shamelessly keep mattresses that are clearly destroyed! It was like sleeping on several cushions on a sofa instead of a bed. Besides, the price isn't cheap enough to allow this kind of mockery. I couldn't sleep the night I was there.
Excellent location and the staff was very kind. It was also nice to have a gym in there.

Reasonably priced room in a very convenient location with lots of transport links nearby (train and main bus station). The included breakfast buffet was fantastic. Special shout-out to Kamal, Ghizlane and the other staff - thank you for the pleasant service.

United KingdomSays it’s a 4 start but definitely would not rate it that , the rooms are abit rundown (beds ect) . The pool is so kinda small but with only two beds to tan and doesn’t get any sun anyways . The spa that’s part of the hotel over the road was so bad and overpriced . 500 diram - £40 for a hammam . This wasn’t a proper hammam at all. We was put on hot slabs for beds that literally burnt us and when we said was to hot they would put freezing water . A hammam is ment to be a steaming room several processes of cleaning and scrubbing body . They only scrubbed us once and done another scrub . Was really disappointing for the price . Have had better experience in Morroco for much cheaper with massages included to . Don’t recommend it all find another spa to go to . The whole place was run down and not a relaxing experience . The hotel is ok if ur just looking for somewhere to rest your head but not if your actually looking for a 4 start hotel .
The lobby is pretty . Staff are nice and welcoming
