The staffs were all helpful and the tent are decent. Consider clean in the desert where dust/sand are everywhere. Overall, it's really an enjoyable trip with the itinerary well planned. Need not to think of what to do at all as it's all planned for you in The Original Camp. We had great time there!

The we had none stop entertainment from the minute we arrived, we did the Buggy ride through the desert upon arrival at 5pm, then straight into dinner at 7pm after getting changed. We had live music, a traditional show, finished with a fire demonstration at 10:30pm. The set menu dinner was great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Despite the pick-up transport being right on time, it took some time to check in the room. The facilities have known better days. It looks like not much maintenance was done over the past few years. It's a shame, as the camp has the potential to be absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't in use, despite being really hot during the day in February. Finally, there is a plan with specific timings, but these weren't always respected. Breakfast started quite late, for example, making it all a bit rushed. However, given the price compared to other camps, I guess overall, it's still good value for money!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Original Camp. Taoufik helped us organise the transfer to the camp, which was included in the half-board package. Pick up and drop off were really smooth! The camp is in the middle of the Agafay desert, making it a unique experience. We did not do any activity, but simply enjoyed the tea and biscuits at check in, the stunning views from our tent, the small hike to see the sunset and later on the dinner and show. Really good entertainment with musicians and the fire artist.

We contacted the number provided on booking to communicate our arrival at the meeting point. They didn't answer until I called them, they didn't send a person to escort us as originally planned so we got lost in the middle of the desert and had to ask for help to find the way. It wasn't very pleasant due to the heat. During the night it started raining very heavily and the water was leaking from the ceiling of the restaurant, which was concerning about the safety of the place. Tends were strong and dry though.

The staff was very nice and friendly. They made sure we had everything we needed. The tent was amazing, super spacious and clean. It was an amazing experience to wake up in the morning with the view of the desert. Nice swimming pool area with sunbeds to relax. Entertainment was very nice during dinner with traditional music and dances.

It was a bit unclear when check out was, booking.com said something different to what the actual check out time was. We left at 09:30 with everyone but probably because of a misunderstanding with languages, we didn't realise this. Not a big problem but was confusing. Also, our power cut out during the night which wasn't too bad as it was cool but it didn't turn back on again in the morning.

Couldn't fault the staff they were so accommodating and friendly, especially as there was a bit of a mix up with our room. They did everything they could to make sure we had the best stay.

- Before arrival quite some things were not very clear, such as offered activities + prices and times. - The pick up to get to the camp was quite unclear and chaotic because multiple organizations were involved. - The shower did not really have warm water and there was no wifi at the tent. -We booked a camelride and someone of the staff took photos during the ride, but it took very long until we finally received the pictures (had to ask twice about it myself). - Toilet and shower did not have a door (faced each other), only a wall to separate it from the bedroom. You could see the person showering or on the toilet. This was not very comfortable for three friends. We had to go to a opposite corner in the bedroom so we would not see each other.

Our stay at the original camp was truly magical! After a hectic stay in Marrakech, we really appreciated 2 nights in the calm and stunning Agafay desert. The room is well decorated, the bed is huge and confortable, the tent had a nice view of the desert. The dinner was good we had a very pleasant evening with an entertaining show with traditional musicians and singing. The dinning area is well decorated with 3 huge bonfire giving a cozy ambiance. Throughout our stay, the staff was extremely attentive, Miloud in particular, was very attentive to our needs.

Contact with drivers wasn’t very smooth

It was an amazing experience. Everything was perfect, starting from transport from Marrakech, facilities, design of the whole camp, dinner with excellent food and artistic part.

DJ blared music until 1145pm when I went to them and told them to stop. I had anticipated this and asked for a location further from main area but the host Taufik told me that it would end by 1030. And still gave me rooms near the central area. Music blared until close to midnight, and the walls of our room were literally shaking. Kids couldn't sleep and were in tears. Next morning, I texted him and called him on multiple occasions but he didnt respond. [he doesnt stay at the resort overnight]. I've texted him on whatsapp and he has simply not replied. Very unprofessional and disappointing. dont go near this company! Shower pressure in one of our two rooms was meagre. trickle of water. my stay here was the only lowlight of an otherwise excellent morocco trip. i hardly write reviews but this one really sucked so bad that i am bothered to take time to write it up to warn others.

Facilities:they look something between unfinished and abandoned .No hot water in our tent, blocked sink ,no sheet for the duvet. Everything looks badly neglected which doesn't show of course in the images they show online. The transfer to marrakech airport was included which turned out being a ride from hell with the driver driving so recklessly on the rough dirt roads making us all wonder if we will make it to the airport in one piece. If the price wasn't so high you would probably say ok but it is highly overrated. I'm sure it is a bad example of what most dessert camps are like in Morocco. It seems like there business model is to get you there and with nothing else to do in the dessert you also pay dearly for a camel ride,rent a quad and pay to have their dinner.

The price was really high. Not just for the stay but everything. A simple chicken tagine lunch was 35 euro per person and a bottle of wine 40. They asked outrages prices. The bed was hard. It wasn't dirty, but there were stains in the sheets. There were multiple people that had issues and were not happy. We would have loved to see the stars but the lighting in the camp is too much to see anything.

The trip started with late pickup of about 30mins. Despite being late, On the way, driver took an unnecessary break in a Argan oil/product shop which I can assume they’re involved in or earn commission. After entering the desert, despite telling the driver to close the windows, he kept windows opened leading us to take shower in dust. Upon reaching the camp, we have been welcomed by a COLD cup of tea. The whole camp looked very poorly maintained, dusty and gloomy. It was obvious that nobody takes good care of the site. Since the beginning of the trip and even after reaching there, nobody briefed about the plans,dinner time etc. During the dinner time there was no supervision. Whole process was unorganised. The waiter boys who served ,they are inexperienced and shaky. They should have a catering manager for supervision. Because the serving was very unorganised. The manager/receptionist was more busy/interesting in selling his over expensive drinks. He charged me 100DH for a horrible virgin Mohito. In the morning, we found the whole camp was untidy and dirty with left over foods, drinks etc at everywhere. Nobody cared to clean them. they started serving breakfast after 8am. Again, the catering was very unorganised. it was self service/ buffet and there were not enough foods for everyone. The tea was again cold/Lukewarm. Nobody actually cared about guests having food or not. We didn’t find them doing refills for the foods. We have been also annoyed by other thing: there was a family with two dogs, who often left their dogs without leash, the both dogs started running here and there , also fighting with the domestic cats. None from the authority nor the dog owners didn’t care about that.My wife is afraid of dogs and cats , she could not finish her breakfast. I was told that the camp has wifi but there was no wifi in the tent, only in the reception. Also the show pictures of pool but there was no water in the pool.

The tent were quite big, clean. There was supply of hot water in the tap,enough toiletries. There was also room heating/cooling options. The camp location is also excellent, have good view of snowy mountains. We enjoyed the dinner show and specially fire show. The fire eater man was absolutely stunning.
