Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomThe hotel is still being finished and will be even better in the future—I’d recommend adding evening entertainment and a pool/snack bar for guests. An outdoor shower area, spa and a games room would be good.
Beautiful hotel surrounded by nature with stunning mountain views. We enjoyed spotting the diverse wildlife and loved how peaceful the remote location felt. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, beautiful pools, making our stay even more enjoyable. The rooms were modern but quirky as we stayed in the dome room. We really enjoyed horse riding which the hotel provide for an extra charge by the mountains. A perfect getaway for relaxation.

MoroccoWe stayed in the dome and the inconvenience is that you will wake up with sunrise as it is not dark, we were moved to the suit and spent an excellent second night.
The area is beautiful and quite, excellent indoor and outdoor pool with great food and the freedom to enjoy the food anywhere you wanted.

SwitzerlandThe construction is still ongoing, so it can be a little bit disturbing. But we knew in advance so we didn’t mind.
The room was one of the best rooms we ever stayed in. It was spacious, very clean and has all the necessities. The food was really tasty and portions big. Benefit: you could eat it where ever you wanted

United KingdomIf you are a light sleeper, you might be disturbed by animal noise in the mornings when sleeping in the tents.
We staying in 2 of the dome tents at the resort. Each tent had very comfortable beds, A/C, en-suite with towels and bathrobes and a patio area behind it with a fantastic view over the valley and mountains beyond. We were only a minute's walk from the rest of the facilities, which were excellent. We enjoyed the indoor heated pool as the outdoor unheated pool was still rather cold in April. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Meals could be ordered and eaten at our tent or any of the other outdoor seating areas. There was also an indoor restaurant on the top floor. The resort keeps a variety of animals, mostly birds ranging from ostriches to canaries, but also Vietnamese pigs (with 4 piglets!), sheep, camels and donkeys. Horse riding and mountain biking were available at extra cost but we were happy to relax by the pool and use the football/basketball area. The resort felt very new, with some aspects still under development. It was a great place to relax for a day or so at the end of our holiday. Another advantage was that it was only a 40min drive to Marrakech airport.

United KingdomThis is a one of a kind resort! The snow-capped Atlas Mountains framed the backdrop here, whilst the more local terrain made us feel like we were far away from home (in the best way). The animals provided an immersive soundscape whilst staying here (some lively roosters and peacocks!) The pools were refreshing. The grounds and gardens were beautifully designed. We did a guided mountain bike ride which was interesting and well-led. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much to ask for. The food was excellent. Our dome tent was so peaceful, warm, and extremely comfortable, I would love to stay in a dome again. We had the best mint tea here! Thank you for a brilliant stay- we hope to be back one day!

I had just a wonderful stay here. Thank you to Yunus, Abdulghafor, and Abdullah. The place is tranquil and relaxing. I loved my room so much! Super spacious and beautiful interior. The windows are huge and a lot of light comes in. The pool is great and it’s nice to get away from it all. I also think the food is really good. You can have dinner from a number of spots on the property. The breakfast is great and the animals are a nice addition. The Atlas Mountains surrounding the property are stunning. Overall, a serene environment. Everyone is so nice as well. Would definitely come back in the future!

A fantastic place if you want to stay close to animals (they have so many types of different animals that you can also feed and interact with!) while enjoying stunning mountain views. Breakfast is served on a terrace upstairs, and a heated pool offers a perfect option for cooler days. The food is very tasty—don’t miss the chicken couscous and seafood pastilla! The staff are a true highlight, with Hicham going above and beyond to ensure a seamless check-in and check-out while providing great tips about the property and surroundings. A perfect 10/10 experience—we’ll definitely return.

United KingdomHonestly nothing!
This place is special, feel really lucky to have visited. I’ve travelled a lot and rarely is a place so perfect, everything has been thought about. The aesthetic is beautiful, the service is brilliant and the food is very good (and good value). I travelled on my own as a female traveller and felt very safe and welcome. I had a walk and a short run on the paths outside the complex and no concerns at all. I will be back!

United KingdomSituated 40 minutes away from Marrakesh, so commute could be a little long and expensive.
Our stay at the Ranch was exceptional. The rooms are clean and very well maintained. Staff are very helpful and professional. Reception staff speak good English , especially Sabeer, who was extremely helpful;however, most of the staff only communicate in French. They offer multiple activities onsite and have 3 pools; the indoors is heated. The resort is situated in a remote, serene place for those wanting to escape the crowds.

Rooms are super comfortable, and the food delicious with great portion sizes. Easily accessible and great activities to do including horseback riding and e-biking. The are 3 pools available, 1 indoor, and 2 restaurants, 1 serving delicious traditional Moroccan cuisine. Pricing for the food is very reasonable. There is even a dome cinema for use as well. - The location was absolutely stunning. The view on the Atlas mountains and the surrounding hills is astonishing from pretty much every corner of the Ranch. Although there are no marked trekking roads at the moment, it is possible to do day hikes from the doorstep in any conceivable direction. The area is very safe and well-worth exploring on foot or by bike. The Ranch offers guided mountain bike tours, I truly recommend it. - The kitchen is truly outstanding, some of the best food we had in Morocco; both the international and the traditional cuisine. - What takes the cake however is the staff at The Ranch. Abdullah, Hicham, Nordin, Youniss and Youssef are all amazing people, very professional, extremely welcoming and friendly. They truly went out of their way making us feel at home. (Thanks for the Arabic, Darija and Amazigh lessons!)
