Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsI stayed at this guest house for 5 days and had an amazing experience. The environment is clean, calm, and very well-maintained. They truly have everything you need for a comfortable stay — from the essentials in the room to the little thoughtful details around the property. One of the biggest highlights is the location — just a 2-minute walk from the beach! It made every morning and evening feel special, being so close to the sea. The food was another standout. The chef cooks with fresh, local ingredients, and every meal felt homemade and full of flavor. Whether it was breakfast or dinner, you could really taste the quality and care put into each dish. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, coastal escape with great food and a welcoming atmosphere.

New ZealandTildi is a tiny village, with around perhaps 15 houses. It is NOT Imsouane. When looking on Booking.com for accommodation in Imsouane it showed as around 1 mile from the centre of Imsouane. This is true if you are a bird or have a boat. I reality getting to Tildi involves a 40 minutes drive throuogh a 4x4 track in the mountains over an amazing gorge. But I don't think this is clear in the listing or I may have missed that. Thanks god that I happened to have a rented car this time, which is very unusual for me, or I have no idea how I would have gotten to and away from the accommodation. Once you are there, it is a mission to get out to Imsouane, so do NOT look at it as staying in Imsouane. If you want a super quiet and remote, romantic getaway then it's perfect. But if you are hoping to hang out in Imsouane, it's best to stay in Imsouane if you don't have a 4wd car. You can get to Tildi with a normal car, but it's veery slow.
Cute and quiet place. The host was super kind, friendly and fun. The building is nice and clean. I was given a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean, apparently a free upgrade. Me and my friend were offered free tea, coffee and snacks. Breakfast was great too. Can't fault anything about the hostel and its staff. Great people. Amazing place.

FranceThe surf house is very well located in Tildi’s village. On the right you’ve got the beach and on the left beautiful mountains (with waterfalls when it’s been raining). You can join Imsouane by the beach at low tide - 40 minutes walking. Or enjoy the waves for yourself here. Karim is a real chef and cooks delicious dinner, his tea is the best I had in Morocco. Enough talking, Tildi is full of surprises and you must discover them.

PolandI have to go back to work. But to be serious, it is great place, but not for those who are looking for luxury. Peopleb lives there in harsh condition so don't expect 5 stars and spa. It is simple place
I won't be original, both Karim and the place itself are great. The road through the mountains is even fun. The views are absolutely brilliant, the path to Imousoane is great. The food cooked by Karim is delicious. The conditions are quite simple, but in a positive way (it's very clean, but it's still a place off the beaten track). A very peaceful, intimate place, if you like spending time at the end of the world.

United KingdomNo criticism about the property - but it’s worth noting that at the time of year we were there (early May) there was no shop, so come prepared! The nearest one is at the start of the 8km dirt track, back at the top of the valley. Easier if you have your own transport of course!
Incredible location - only 3km from Imsouane as the crow flies, but 21km by road, the last 8km of which is dirt track. The result is a hidden gem nestled in a valley right on the coast. Great location for hiking or trail running. Away from any crowds. Karim, our host and chef, was fantastic and the food was great. A small stream runs down the valley (likely much bigger after it rains!), and we were lucky enough to see herds of goats, sheep and camels, as well as the local donkeys (with foals) coming to drink!

Karim is an awesome host. Every meal he cooks is absolutely delicious. The location is pretty secluded, away from the busy crowds (for now) and you get to experience breathtaking views any direction you walk. There are also surfboards and wetsuits for rent. Also the donkeys and dogs were a nice addition. This is definitely a place I'd recommend to anyone.

Amazing location in a quiet remote place. The staff were outstanding in their welcome and made us feel safe and well looked after all of the time during our stay. We loved everything about this place, the beach and people around were very friendly. We wanted to stay longer but couldn’t on this occasion but hope to return in the future. A huge thank you.

PortugalChef Karim and his kind, warm and laid back hospitality. Made us feel like home and we even stayed a second night and potentially could stay longer as the place is a true oasis of peace, calmness, and silence. In one of our walks through the town, we ended up being invited by a family of locals to have food at their house with 30+ people there. It was such a wonderful meaningful experience.

SwedenI'm so happy and lucky I came here!! A hidden gem, so beautiful and friendly ❤️ I really loved it. From the ride down from Assaka through the beautiful nature of the canyon and the view over the mountain and beaches I was just overjoyed. Karim took such great care of us at Tildi Surf house cooking food including delicious fresh fish tagine and was just wonderful 🙏🏼 The coastline is so pristine and quiet with 2 beautiful beaches and round stones. And the best part was hanging out at the porch outside Tildi Surf house kuddling with the most social donkeys I've ever met that roam free outside 🤗 Miss them terribly! Probably my favourite place from my Morocco travel. If you read this, go there! You won't regret it! Shoutout to Karim and le grand pêcheur ❤️ Good to know that it's +20 min car ride or 2 hour hike (very beautiful though) from the main road by Assaka town and as Tildi is such a small town there are no shared taxis, so if you don't have a car it'll cost around 100-200 dirham to get a lift down there, but well worth it. It's heaven 🙏🏼

Germany-
The Tildi Surf House is a very special place. It’s hard to find a spot like this. The house is located in the quiet village of Tildi. There’s a beautiful, empty beach that’s perfect for a swim or a surf (if you can handle the waves there). Also there are donkeys roaming around the village. They like to come to the house for some cucumber and bread. The house is run by Karim, he’s the most kindhearted, caring and happy host you could only wish for. Every morning he’s preparing a nice breakfast and there’s a menu where you can pick a meal for the evening. His cooking skills are amazing. Try the Tarjines! So if you’re in for a good time, in a place that still has the magic and is not overrun by tourists. Come here, Kick back and enjoy the smooth ride! 10/10 would recommend this amazing place

FranceThe guest house is clean and presentable, offering a lot as the only option in the area. However, there is room for improvement, particularly in the infrastructure. Upgrading the bathroom and kitchen would be beneficial, and adding more practical utensils, an oven, and additional storage space would enhance convenience. I also feel that total silence at times would be ideal, allowing guests to fully enjoy the natural sounds, like the ocean waves during the day. For me, the sounds of nature are truly mesmerizing. That said, I understand that complete silence may not appeal to everyone, as some might prefer light background music or TV for a cozier ambiance.
My teenage sons and I came to Tildi after seeking ocean views and peace in Essaouira and Imsouane, and we were pleasantly surprised by the great silence, calmness, and the warm hospitality of Kareem. The location is serene, and we are so happy here that we've decided to extend our stay for another two weeks. The beach feels like a private haven, as it's nearly always empty, offering unparalleled tranquility. While getting a taxi can be challenging and there are no shops nearby, Kareem and the house have been incredibly accommodating, taking care of our orders and cooking delicious meals. The included breakfast is generous and satisfying, setting the tone for relaxing days. I truly feel this is my luckiest find so far for calmness and peace of mind. The sunny weather, consistently above 23°C, and exceptional customer service make it a getaway I’ll cherish and likely return to next year. This is a perfect retreat for both kids and adults to escape the hustle and bustle of tourist-heavy towns. Highly recommended!

The track to the location is an incredible drive if you are a confident driver but it's important to be careful and drive slowly. Also to drive carefully on to the road when you leave the location.
