Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Wonderful room, very comfortable and spacious. Tea with delicate cakes on arrival. Superb 3 course dinner. Beautiful garden. Local walk, recommended by our hosts, gave lovely views of the river Ourika, rural life and ancient olive trees.

United StatesI traveled about 17 days around Morocco with intention to avoid staying in cities and tourist attractions. My flight was from Marrakech so I spent my last night in this serenity with smiling faces by Moustafa and the other staff that I couldn’t catch their name. My room was beautiful, tasteful with lots of space and sitting room. Moustafa is a great cook and his choice of music was my taste. During the day I hiked to the nearby villages on the mountains and hiked back from river with the company of two dogs. I’m happy with my decision and stay there to complete my trip. Also 1 hour drive to airport was easy to return my rental car.

MoroccoNot much to dislike. It is helpful to have a French translator app or speak French.
The hosts, Mustapha and Khadija and Yusuf, are lovely, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. The food is incredible: fresh, interesting, and delicious (though not included in stay price). They are amazing chefs and this really cannot be emphasized enough, happy to discuss their history and approach to cooking. Rooms were large and comfortable. The location is wonderful, as there are nearby hikes with amazing views. The hosts also gave us extra patisseries as gifts.

AustraliaWe arrived late after having car troubles and not feeling that great after suffering some stomach issues. Despite the language barrier (French/English) Mustafa welcomed us with tea and biscuits and suggested and provided a cumin solution for our upset stomachs (which seemed to work). We had a good night's sleep and had a great breakfast the next day. We found the location a little difficult to find but to be fair it was our first day of driving in Morocco. We totally recommend this lovely, welcoming guesthouse.

United KingdomLoved this place!!! Was so incredibly relaxing. Had fantastic views of the mountains. Everyone who worked there was so incredibly lovely and the overall experience would 100% go back. Tokyo the dog was such a sweetie too. The dinner was so generous and delicious. Breakfast was also all homemade and tasty. There are easy walking trails nearby that the host will tell you about too.

MalaysiaWonderful location, team and food. Very peaceful, calm atmosphere with large comfortable rooms. Waking up to the sun rising over the Atlas Mountains in the distance was fantastic. The option to have a 3 course home cooked evening meal was wonderful. Fresh local dishes which varied every night for only 150. Maybe a little more variety for breaksfast...cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruits. Thanks for everything. I look forward to coming back.

UkraineWifi was really slow and it was cold (which is ok for Atlas in January)
I loved how caring and warm are the hosts, they treat their guests so lovely and also their cooking skills for sure :) I felt very supported during my stay. The room was HUGE, very comfortable and beautifully decorated, especially I enjoyed interior of the bathroom. A property features amazing garden, I can only imagine how pleasant is to be there in spring. Location is very convenient to reach both Ourika center and hiking spots in the valley, which you can get to with a small local bus costing 10dh.

FinlandRoom looked slightly unfinished, like several wires hanging from the ceiling and walls, shower gel/shampoo was missing, no hairdryer at the room but I didn't ask for it and still we were in low season
Very spacious room, huge I would say, filled with light, we had our own terrace. All facilities look nice, plenty of space to chill around from several terraces to a garden with hammocks. Possibility to have breakfast or dinner, beautiful view on the mountains

The most beautiful place in Morocco during our trip. This is a beautiful house with huge rooms and a cozy living room for relaxing and eating. There is a beautiful garden and a two lovely dogs. The staff were so kind and prepared for us dinner and breakfast. The bad weather during our stay stopped us from walking around the village, but we enjoyed the place.

United StatesThe guesthouse and surrounding gardens are absolutely gorgeous. There are several terraces with great views of the surrounding valley and mountains. The guesthouse has several gardens inside its walls and they were great for relaxing, exploring, and playing hide and go seek with our daughter. Mustafah and his sister and nephew were wonderful hosts. The two dinners we ate were delicious and very interesting, with a lot of local ingredients from their gardens. Mustafah always looked out for our comfort and offered to make us lunch and came by with tea and local sweets when he found us relaxing in the gardens. The rooms were spacious and quiet and the décor throughout our room and the entire guesthouse was attractive and interesting. The guesthouse is located close to the river and it was easy for us to walk the surrounding dirt streets and take in the views and great weather. It felt very safe. Overall, it is a special place and great value and I would definitely go back if in the area.

United KingdomThe food was outstanding and prepared with love and attention to detail, it was a real highlight in my entire time in Morocco. The scenery was absolutely gorgeous, watching the sunsets from the terrace is a fantastic experience. The surroundings also enable both smaller and longer hikes, whatever matches your needs. The garden is a tranquil space that enables you to relax, and everyone is extremely nice and willing to help with anything. And finally, the quality of the beds and bathrooms and all are great also.

New ZealandOne of our favorite stays in Morocco. Mustafa and his family are great hosts, and we genuinuely felt they enjoyed having guests. The house is set in beutiful gardens, with a great view over the valley, the rooms are huge and there are plenty of areas both inside and out where you can relax. Dinner was one of the best meals we have had and we would definitely recommend it if you have the opportunity.

United KingdomNothing to fault, little hard to find, missed turning but helpful local guided us in.
Best residence stayed at so far in Morocco! Room was very spacious and beautifully furnished with bespoke furniture and fittings. Host offered food which was plentiful fresh and exceptional quality at very good prices. 3 course evening meals that were 5 star quality. Views are sublime, close to walking paths, visited berber market through mountain paths. Shared lounges and terraces were tastefully designed and furnished. Garden is just spectacular with irrigation channel running through it. Will definitely return, highly recommended.

United Arab EmiratesUnfortunately the weather was not nice (cold and cloudy) so we couldn't fully appreciate the mountain view and the garden. No toiletry were provided, so remember to come with your own soap and shampoo.
The dinner was exceptionnal and we recommend everyone to ask for it straight on arrival. The rooms are nice and large. very comfortable. As soon as the sky cleared you can enjoy a magnificent view and spend some time in the graden. Moustafa is a great host and can give you some advice on hikes close to Ourika. You need a car to get there and move around as it is countryside.

United KingdomNothing. The bed was a little hard for my personal taste. But I can't recommend this place highly enough.
We LOVED this place. - Excellent staff (it's family-run). - Great location, in a quiet scenic spot overlooking the pretty valley. Eating on the flower-covered verandah was a particular highlight. - The food was fantastic. Home-cooked with loving attention by the host family, using fresh ingredients from their garden. Bursting with flavour. - Close to some great attractions (Amina Garden , which we highly recommend, and 30 many drive to the waterfalls at Setti Fatma). - Spotlessly clean. - Our French was just abut good enough for the owner to advise us on local walks too. - Lovely contrast to Marrakech.
