How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewWe loved this place! We only stayed one night but it was 100 percent worth the detour to get there. Beautiful quirky accommodation and super clean, amazing food and the best breakfast we had in morrocco - comfy beds and great shower - the dunes and canyon are an extraordinary place and only 5 mins away over the road. We loved exploring these. The staff were so kind and generous and let us stay for longer despite checking out while we waited for a taxi. The swimming pool is a really nice addition. If you are considering booking this place but worried it’s pricey - 1000 percent book it as it’s worth every penny!

Verified reviewbeautifull location and great tents. We loved the decor and the infinity pool. Also the food was great and the staff was very helpfull. I loved our stay and the tent was also beautifull. We loved our diner under the stars and waking up in the morning to see the sun set from our porch. And we loved to watch the see and the camels walk by when we were at the infinity pool.
The plastic window on our dome was a bit clouded, so blocked our view a bit. The only real downside was the very hard bed. Infact I really loved my stay, but I am glad we didn't book for 2 nights because of the oncomfortabel bed. It is only the hardness of the matrass. The bed is nice and big, the bedding is luxurious and warm.
Thank you for your feedback. Since the project is still new, we have made several changes recently, including the removal of the plastic windows. That being said, we respect your point of view and would be very happy to welcome you again.

Verified reviewI celebrated my 40th birthday here and It was such a success! Mr. Mohamed will welcome you but also cook some of the best food we tried in Marroco. Mr. Abdulla keeps the pool and garden spotless and also prepares the fireplace so after dinner all the guests can enjoy a fun chat by the fire under the stars. Walking around that arid landscape is an experience, suddenly you can come acrross so many bee hives or a herd of dromedaires! Weldone to all the team for making our stay so special!
Thank you for choosing our place to celebrate this wonderful occasion José Luis. Mohamed and Abdullah send their best regards to you, and our domes will always welcome you.

Verified reviewNote booking.com there is no option to select 'single parent' traveller, which is very relevant to my experience. This is clearly a stylish and comfortable boutique destination spot. The gardens are stunning. It's great watching the bees collecting for your morning breakfast honey. The domes are well maintained and lots of effort goes into cleaning them outside. The site is new which helps. The HQ for the staff is also very cool and they play plenty of good music both international and Moroccan. They are hosts who make an effort. The half board was exquisite. Breakfast was a beautiful spread.
You're essentially trapped on a hill. As a couple or group that's fine. As a single mother, it's not the most relaxing. Add to this at 180 Euros a night, you expect a certain level of rest and relaxation. Moroccans place doing financial deals above ALL else. Including leaving people well fed and cared for without any hassle. The accommodation is half board. People especially kids still need to eat mid day. So this is where the energy drain begins. No menus. Only way to restaurant is in taxis. Taxi drivers lie about, sleeping at the accommodation. Then it's a haggle for the ride. Haggle for the food. Haggle for any entertainments. It's a rip off. There's no from the scams and I was stuck there entertaining two antsy children. I tried to order meals for lunch. I asked for a salad and explained in English and French I wanted vegetables. A box of pasta or a box of rice drenched in burger sauce was what arrived. The hosts have no sense of anything other than what they decide you want. And they consistently and insistently want you to pay for what they decide you want. Just have a costed menu? People want to spend. They also want choice. It spoiled things for me. I don't want to sit by a pool starving and thirsty, wondering what the set up is. I don't want to pay through the nose for something unhealthy and tasteless I didn't want and to pay for the taxi to deliver it. I saved hard for this holiday and you're very much not there to enjoy yourself. You're there to extort money from in any way possible. No ability to plan activities as no price list. S hower was full of old soap bottles. Towels didn't seem clean. Beds were pristine. They did provide me kindly with a yoga mat when they saw me begin a session which I appreciated.
Dear Zoe, We sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. Regarding the dinner and breakfast included in your reservation, it is standard that prices are not listed on the menu. However, when it comes to ordering lunch from outside, please note that we are not responsible for those meals. Our main goal is to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of our guests, and it seems that there may have been a miscommunication on our part. We deeply regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience, and we hope that such issues will not occur in the future.
