The owner and the staff are very friendly, people there is so nice and friendly. As a solo traveler I’ll recommend to someone who is traveling alone to stay there because you’ll be make connections and friends very easy. Breakfast so good and local.

It would have been much more comfortable if a fan or air conditioning had been provided, as it was difficult to sleep in the heat.

This was my first time staying in Anza, as I usually book hotels or Airbnbs in Agadir, and I was very pleased with my stay at Waves Hunter Surf House. Walid is such a nice guy—absolutely incredible. He’s extremely helpful and kind, and I couldn’t have asked for a better host. The hostel is modern, spotless, and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. A small breakfast is included, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere was fantastic, the wifi worked perfectly, and the location is great—just a short walk to the beach and local cafes. I felt very safe and comfortable throughout my stay. For tourists who aren’t familiar with Morocco: a shared taxi from Anza to Agadir (or vice versa) costs 5 DH during the day and 10 DH at night. The bus is 4 DH. From Anza to Taghazout by shared taxi is no more than 10 DH. Some taxi drivers try to charge foreigners 100–150 DH—this is a scam. Always take a shared taxi to avoid overpaying. I loved everything. The location is walking distance to the beach, the staff are all very kind and fun to be around, and the breakfast was always very good. The building, rooms, and bathroom were very well kept and clean. The rooftop area is very cozy too. The experience of getting to meet fellow travelers and be in such a nice area was fantastic as well. I really can't compliment this beach house enough, exceptional value for your money, 100/10, would and will definitely be back again!!!

Nothing. I LIKE everything, PERFECT place

This is the best place to stay in Morocco—truly the best. Everything is spotless clean, not a single stain. The room is beautiful and cozy, and the bathroom is sparkling clean. Breakfast was delicious. The rooftop terrace is lovely. Walid, the owner, is absolutely wonderful. For me, this didn’t feel like just staying somewhere—it felt like meeting family and hanging out together. He even organized a campfire by the beach just for us. He’s truly the best and incredibly skilled at taking care of his guests. Mehdi is also the best, he is working hard all the time, cleaning all the time. This place is just perfect. I really, really loved it. If I could give a score of 1000, I’d give 1000 out of 10! You HAVE to stay here—trust me, this place feels like home. Even the other guests were amazing, full of good vibes and positive energy. Thank you soooo much Walid.

I booked for 2 nights and stayed 8, as soon as I left I wanted to go back. Everything is amazing at this hostel. Beds are comfy, is very clean from the dorms to the rooftop, very flexible with extending which I did multiple times. The owner Walid it’s a legend and his family as well, he is always keen to set up activities and join us, there to help everyone with whatever you need, the whole hostel has an amazing vibe I haven’t quite find anywhere else in Morocco. Plus the rooftop sunset view is beautiful. I know if I’m ever in Agadir again that’s the only place I would stay!

I travelled alone as a 53 year old woman to Morocco in January 2025 My first time visiting this beautiful country WAVES HUNTER was absolutely wonderful, modern, exceptionally clean and so close to shop cafes and the beach What makes this place even better are the amazing staff! Walid and Pakita are just THE BEST!! Friendly welcoming and bags of fun! The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, prepared by the beautiful Hannah You really feel like one of the family here! I am so glad I stayed here! It was perfect I will definitely return and would highly recommend 👌

i absolutely recommend this surf house! we spent three days there and felt truly taken care of from the moment we arrived. the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, making it easy to relax and enjoy every moment. everyone there is incredibly kind and friendly, creating such a positive vibe that makes you feel at home instantly 🫶🏼 the rooms and the entire place are absolutely beautiful and spotless, with so much attention to detail. you can tell that they put a lot of love into making this place special. the owner is beyond helpful, always there to assist with anything you need, and genuinely cares about making your stay unforgettable ♥️ also breakfast was delicious!
