Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomWould really like to say that there's nothing that I didn't like, but as much as all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly, they need a little more training on how to serve food in a 5 star hotel and how to take orders. Every restaurant or bar order comes extremely late and I mean extremely late, as bad as 40 minutes later just for the juice. Also constantly taking orders incorrectly, even if I write down a whole order on whatsapp for them they still manage to get something incorrectly or forget something. It gets as bad as asking for a glass of white wine and they bring a glass of water. Asked for bag of pretzels from the mini bar and brought popcorns. Every morning we were messaging them on whatsapp letting them know what we will want for breakfast and give them an hour's notice, but they can't even read the order from the message, still get something wrong. Or ordering food, coffee, juice and some water, then they ask if we want coffee and juice before food, we say yes, then they bring water first but 40 minutes later, then bring the food together with the coffee and don't bring the juice at all. It got annoying in the end, not even funny anymore. Also at the checkout I racked up a huge bill and wanted to pay before we left for the airport, but the guy taking the payment couldn't even used the card machine properly, nor even inserting the card properly into the machine, kept inserting in upside down, wrong way in etc and the card kept getting declined. I gave them a different card and that was getting declined too because he wasn't using it correctly, in the end I got extremely agitated as I was going to be late to the airport and paid them all in cash, but didn't even say good bye as I got so agitated, thinking not only they cannot serve food and drinks properly, but cannot even take payments properly.
Really great place. Second time in Morocco for us and this place just made us to plan a third trip and will definitely be back to this hotel. I've stayed in many many hotels as I travel a lot for business and pleasure and not many hotels leaves either negative or positive mark, but this hotel left one of the most positive mark for us. The hotel is extremely clean, they clean the rooms like 2-3 a day, constantly cleaning and cutting the grass, constantly cleaning the pool, it's like the cleanest place I've ever been with. Smells always good too. The location is great, outside the city, about 25 minutes drive, we had a hire car, but they have a nice Range Rover with a driver that you can hire for either half a day or a day or just one way trip and they really don't charge crazy prices. I saw some reviews saying that this is not a 5 star hotel yet and the project isn't finished yet as they're still have some ongoing works there, but I hugely disagree, I definitely think it's a 5 star hotel, even with some of the works still ongoing.

South AfricaNot much. I wish the Shakshouka we had was on the breakfast menu because it was one of the best I’ve ever had. I also wish they had an espresso machine
The attention to detail, the stunning design of the lobby and choice of aroma. The design of the poolside and the little hammocks was so relaxing, even the room was so neat and clean and the TV allowed us to connect to our Netflix. It was all so tasteful and so luxuriously decorated, I’m a fan of the feature walls in the lobby and how they matched the furniture. Very cool. I also found it quite cool that they have their own vegetable garden and use it in the food they prepare. The hotel is basically brand new, State of the art door locks with a combination key, fresh and clean rooms that are cool and quirky. The staff were so warm and welcoming, proper Moroccan hospitality and they extended their care in an outstanding way. I will never forget the courtesy they showed us and made sure that we were happy no matter what. Trust me, by the end of our stay we were very happy. Our stay at Yin hotel truly made up for the previous “5 star” hotels we stayed at in the other cities because it really was on an international 5 star level yet small enough that we were given special treatment and the full attention of all the staff and even a meeting with the owner! I feel like family now and we will definitely return to Marrakech one day because of this wonderful place we could call home for a few days.

United KingdomMy wife and I spent 4 days at Yin Hotel and enjoyed every minute. The room was sumptuous and the bed, large and comfortable. Breakfast was a treat and dinners were brilliant with a good variety of both Moroccan & International dishes on offer. Above all, were the friendly and attentive staff who were only too pleased to answer questions and provide assistance. We discovered that our hire car had a flat back tyre literally as we were leaving to drive to Agadir Jousef, the manager, immediately came out, asked for our car keys and sent us back inside to enjoy some traditional mint tea while they unpacked the boot to get the sparewheel and attended to the whole messy business. His parting gift was the google maps link to a nearby tyre repair shop for us to get the tyre repaired. Lastly, the two massage treatment ladies are very well trained and give an excellent massage. My wife was also very pleased with the facial treatment she received. What a delightful 4 days we had. We'll definitely be back. Enjoy.

MaltaWe were fortunate enough to receive an upgrade and the room while beautiful was slightly impractical. There was limited hanging space and no drawers or baskets to put in underwear, etc. Staying for a week we found this challenging for 2 people. There are only hooks for wet towels inside the shower which are also placed very high so again slightly challenging as we are quite short. The breakfast was nearly the same each day with only a variation on eggs, this needs to be updated with different options as after 1-2 days this was getting a bit boring. The same for the evening menu, we only ate twice at the hotel as the menu was the same all week. Service throughout the stay was hard work and although the staff tried they clearly have not been trained in hospitality, the staff need to be aware of guests needs and be prompt which at times once asked it took a longer than average wait to receive items. All the above can be easily fixed and I wish the hotel the best in their future.
The hotel is beautifully furnished and very tranquil. The staff are incredibly helpful and always smiling.

I my stay was 10/10! The room was beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. Every member of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I especially want to thank Mehdi at the front desk because he went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. He gave me great information about local tours and was always willing to help with anything I needed. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality. I would definitely stay here again!
