How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Roberta couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful and the apartment was lovely. The pool area was very nice, a great spot to relax. The location was excellent with Carrefour and restaurants nearby.

Given the apartment's size, it would have been more useful to have an oven instead of the dishwasher to assist cooking alongside the hob and microwave. It would also have been useful if the towel rail in the bathroom was heated.
The apartment was well appointed and both tidy and clean. Roberta, the host, was very nice and extremely helpful, meeting us on arrival and returning to say goodbye when we left. She also left welcome gifts of chocolate and biscotti for us. The apartment was quiet, peaceful and comfortable.

Absolutely nothing!
This apartment is fantastic.The location is perfect just jump on no 6 bus and go around the waterfront.Grocery store super close and cute little beach a short walk away.Roberta the host is truly amazing was so helpful with everything.The apartment has a lovely swimming pool and has everything you would ever need , even the bed was super comfortable.Short walk to the palace would stay again in heartbeat.

Everything is perfect . All tools is inside , very clean the manager of apartment u will never see like her . Modest , kind , interested about u sooo much thanks for this amazing experiment. Location is very special I swear it’s more than better Fairmont hotel.

The location was amazing, right by the water and restaurants within easy walking distance of the center of town. We couldn't have asked for more. After a disastrous booking elsewhere, which found us stranded in the rain, we found this property at the last minute and what a find it was! Nestled away in the habour, within easy walking distance to restaurants and the city center it was the perfect solution for us, led by the amazing host Roberta. Nothing was too much trouble, she really looked after us; guiding us where to go for everything even walking us to the local shop to stock up on bread and milk. She even thought to provide toothbrushes and toothpaste in case we needed it! The apartment had everything we needed and we will definitely be returning. We cannot recommend either the apartment or the host enough, we are simply blown away.

I loved everything and recommend the stay to all of you reading.
I absolutely loved the stay in this beautiful location in Monaco. The flat is spacious and bright with a lovely & big balcony where each morning I drank coffee and admired the view & the birds singing sunrise songs. The flat is quiet and has plenty of food/restaurant options nearby if needed (including Carrefour). There is an open gym for the sport fans at the peer nearby. The place is a walking distance to Monaco Casino and Port Hercule - approximately 15-20 minutes (for the ones that prefer public there is a bus number 6 that goes and it costs approximately 2 Euro). I wish I could stay longer as the place has a lot of amenities like swimming pool and beautiful garden. The owner (Remarkable Roberta) was very helpful and responsive and addressed all my queries regarding Monaco and transportation and also assisted me with the taxi booking to the airport. I have been 3 times in Monaco and this one was the best by miles - I will be back 😊. PS. I loved also the big bath 🛀 - perfect ending to a day in Monaco 🇲🇨.

This apartment perfectly met our needs. We slept on the fold down bed settee in the main bedroom which was comfortable. Roberta offered valuable advice and guidance to improve our stay in Monte Carlo. She even drove us to the railway station on our departure.
The Host, Roberta, was excellent. Our communications were concise, clear, friendly and helpful. Roberta arranged to meet us at the apartment on arrival at an agreed time and was extremely welcoming. The one bedroom apartment was clean and well appointed with plenty of comfortable seating. The kitchen had a microwave and dishwasher and was stocked with coffee, tea, milk, fruit, cakes and biscuits. Having a washing machine and the necessary consumables was a real bonus for us. We enjoyed sitting on the pleasant balcony. We would definitely recommend renting this apartment.
