The host. Whilst not personally unpleasant to me, she seemed overly distracted by what I perceived to be a disagreement with someone on her phone and her mood was all the worse for it. As a result she was quite impatient when I said I could not get the wifi to work. Soon resolved though. Not a good first impression but it did not affect my stay otherwise.

Very close to main bus station and access to most parts of the country. Accommodation had only a modest velux type roof window so gives a darker feel as a result but I only use accommodation for down time or sleeping. Despite being close to the centre, it was set back a little from the road (some sort of small courtyard), and very quiet. For the quiet and great location, it gets a 9.

The use of glass coffee cups, instead of ceramic. And there are no tea spoons to stir up the coffee/tea. There are no any blankets in the room. And the duvet had no cover, we had to put the duvet in the cover.

A few small reservations. Owner doesn't speak English (although we communicated effectively enough via translation software). Some of the plug sockets were a bit unreliable; I woke up one morning to find my phone had stopped charging in the middle of the night. Payment is cash only and requested on arrival (no problem, but does mean you'll need to withdraw Moldovan leu before checking in).

Excellent location just around the corner from Chisinau's central bus station and the main boulevard leading to cathedral and triumphal arch. Quite spacious room with desk and plenty of storage space; bathroom en suite in adjacent private hallway. Air con provided. Reliable wi-fi. Basically a good place to stay.

The curtain on the window (a skylight in my room) blocked out little light.

Great place close to the spectacular Central Market. A must see. Very clean, and nice bed. TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime came in handy one day it rained. Staff made me coffee when I arrived early as my room was not ready.

The room was big and with facilities such as airconditioning and a small fridge. The wifi works well. It is quite cheap. It is close to the main market and near all the monuments in Chisinau.

It is a simple, basic motel, at a budget price, in a convenient central location, perfectly adequate for a short stay. The staff were very helpful, although as no English was spoken, if you don't know any Romanian or Russian, you would need to rely on google translate.
