How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewThe only big feature about the property is that of being in close proximity to the city center. From there it's easy to go to the Cathedral's Park, St. Stefan Park, Stefan cel Mare Blvd, and of course it was close to whatever location you could like as restaurants or/and bars. Room and bathroom were clean, and the staff was friendly. I would say that, taking into consideration the price, and to stay ONLY 1 night and next day to have a MAX 3h drive to home - it's ok, decent I would rate it.
Although the room was clean, the mattress was some old style type with springs. Being heavier, if I would have leaned harder on my side I would have catapulted my wife towards the window. Breakfast was mediocre, consisting of low quality and cheap products, with very few options. Vegetables... not in the greatest shape - were done, some slices of tomatoes and cucumbers. There were a couple of fruits, they were "sad" - let's say. The only things we could ate were: some slices of toasted bread with a little butter, some cubes of feta cheese with a couple slices of tomatoes and boiled eggs. The plain omelet, sausages and some mini hot-dogs together with the pastries were strange - putting it nicely. The parking is ultra small with a maximum of 6 cars to be parked safe - moreover, it is shared with another store, which they got 2 cars at least.

Verified reviewThe staff were amazing, the location was perfect, and my room was very clean.
The only downside was that my room was facing the corridor, so there was no fresh air.

Verified reviewLocation was very good, walking distance to the city centre. Room and bed were comfortable.
Bathroom on top floor room was not spacious and it was not indicated in the booking that there was no shower and only a bath. In addition to this there was no plug to fill the water and have a proper bath. Breakfast was poor, only one choice of eggs and the microwave was not working so I ate cold boiled eggs with cold bread.

Verified reviewLocation is very good, walking distance to local street market and bazaar and main street. Workers are so kind, breakfast is satisfactory.
We stayed in August. Unfortunately there were mosquitos which disturbed a lot and we couldn't sleep without running air con which was noisy. We had a lot of mosquito bites. There was no nets on the windows. Also, rooms seem not disinfected because there were cocroach like bugs especially in the bathroom and they were many.

Verified reviewThe staff was friendly.
There are no parking lots for the property, only luck not to find the car blocked for half a day by random unfriendly and angry locals in the courtyard or by the street. Extra fee is applied for room cleaning. We've asked for towels and sheets to be changed, but in the evening they've told us that there was no spear key for the room and they gave us the towels in a garbage bag, to change ourselves. Also.. in there was a bug among them.. Photos attached The "hotel" does not have an elevator, so there is quite unpleasant to carry the luggages to the top floor.

Verified reviewthe location was fantastic and i appreciated the breakfast.
I wasn’t able to book an airport pickup, I extended my stay by another night and was charged more than the original price, there was a 10% additional charge on my credit card, the room didn’t have wide enough curtains to block the light and my room faced the market where people began chatting and working at the crack of dawn (0530). The front desk also won’t break down any currency even when i paid for the airport shuttle to the airport - funny how it was only available one way.

Verified reviewVery spacious room.
We were surprised to find that we were rationed to one cup of coffee for breakfast. Also surprised to find that the beer we bought was nearly double the price stated on the menu provided in the room.
