How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewThe breakfast was very good in quantity and quality. The location very central and very well connected to the Airport by bus (bus stop just in front of the Hotel). I experienced a good stay of only one night.

Verified reviewI had a wonderful stay at the TA Collection Hotel in Chișinău. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive from start to finish. They allowed me to check in early, provided a delicious breakfast, and even let me check out late on my departure day. The hospitality was outstanding — everyone was friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The food was excellent, the service was professional and warm, and they even assisted me with my luggage. I truly felt cared for throughout my stay. When I return to Moldova, I will absolutely choose this hotel again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chișinău!

Verified reviewFrom outside it doesn’t look like much (the building is hidden in a yard behind the front street buildings) but it’s great location, within walking distance to all main attractions. The bus from the airport stops in front. The room and bathroom were big and modern, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was really good. Staff was nice and helpful, speaking several different languages.

Verified reviewThe location is just ideal, close to all main attractions, a bust stop just nearby. Quite modern. Helpful staff. Free tea, coffee, and hot water all time. Room facilities are good.
Single room is too small with minimal space. Breakfast is not good with limited options without any varieties. Room cleaning didn't make my bed, which I have to do by myself. Small wash basin in bathroom makes it hard to wash hands and to brush.

Verified reviewUnfortunately, my experience at this hotel was not positive. Breakfast was very weak — limited choice and served only after 7 a.m., which was inconvenient. There were also issues with payment: I was unable to pay online and, in addition, an extra fee was charged upon arrival. The room itself was not properly cleaned — dirty cups were left behind, and overall housekeeping seemed careless. Soundproofing was also very poor, as I could clearly hear people in the neighboring rooms through the walls. Overall, the stay did not meet expectations and I cannot recommend this hotel.

If the guests need to leave earlier, we are always availble to arrange a takeaway breakfast or to open the breakfast room in advance to take coffe, tea with available snacks, cereals, yogurts, and other packaged items. Regarding your payment, we have carefully checked the history of your reservation, and we can say you, that we have not charged any additional fees – you paid the exact amount shown on the Booking.com on your reservation. We apologize for any shortcomings in housekeeping and soundproofing that you experienced. We will take into consideration all your comments and of course we study why that was happened. Verified reviewThe room was very nice, the bed was big and very comfortable to sleep on. WiFi worked very well and TV has YouTube and Netflix preinstalled so that was very good as well. Minibar is also available and well stocked. The bathroom has all the necessities anybody could need. The staff in the hotel were also nice and helpful.
The only small negative thing that I noticed was a weird fishy smell in the bathroom when I checked in, however it already got better the next morning and wasn't bothering me too much anyways, it was just noticeable.

Verified reviewThe breakfast was enjoyable; however, the variety could have been a bit wider. The location is good, with everything you need just a short walk away. Having a washing machine and dryer was a huge advantage.
The room was a bit tight, but I knew what I was getting. The elevator tends to be slow, particularly when the hotel is fairly busy.

Verified reviewBefore arriving, I had read many negative reviews, but in my experience everything went smoothly and I had no issues at all. The staff were professional and did their jobs well. Free coffee from the machine was a nice touch, and it tasted great. The location is excellent, with a shopping mall right across the street and the city center within reasonable walking distance. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the smart TV with YouTube worked perfectly. Overall, a pleasant stay that exceeded my expectations.
The hotel is located in an inner courtyard behind a gate, so it took me a moment to find it at first. Breakfast was not very extensive or particularly tasty.
