The heating was not turned on in the city… so no heating in the room. But reception has provided portable heaters which solved the problem. Great people at reception 👌👏

I arrived at Nov,4 and it was really cold inside. It was fine at night as I had blanket, but to stay in the room outside of the bed was impossible. The beds were really old and they were making really bad sound.

The room was as described and exactly as it looked at photos. location is really great, main street is just around the corner, so you can easily walk everywhere. Though it could be tricky to get there by car. When I arrived, I was informed that I can only pay with cash, but the girl at the reception was really nice & she guided me where I can withdraw the money (it was really close, just 3 min from the hotel). Shared bathroom was really clean, but I was the only one who was using it.

Rooms look exactly same like was in URSS. Not bad, but missing modern facilities. If need cheap hotel located in city center, it's a good selection.

I do not recommend this hotel, avoid it as much as possible! It smells bad, very dirty and old/destroyed, old and non-functional furniture, you can hear every movement in the hallway, the bathroom and toilet look disastrous.

The hotel's surroundings are pretty awful, like from the Bronx. It's obvious that it's a cheaper hotel. I was surprised that it's not possible to pay by card. I also didn't feel very safe on the ground floor of the hotel in the evening when there were strange people sitting there. The elevator looked like it was from the 19th century. However, the room was nice and clean and sufficiently equipped.

The room was acceptable - clean and fulfilled the comfort. There was a little bit problem with setting the temperature with the help of AC, however it finally worked.

It’s just not worth £32 a night to stay in this very Soviet hotel. Miserable reception staff, ancient beds, stagnant water in the shower and the room reeked of stale smoke. Booking.com also sent me a message a few days later saying that the hotel had notified them that I didn’t check-in, I wish I hadn’t!

Good location which is a short walk from the city centre.

No AC. Shower was dirty. WC smelled like dead fish. Room must have been great in 1950s, but now it's pretty bad. Blankets were so bad we had use our own towels.

~There was no hot water in the room. I specifically paid for a room with private bathroom but couldn't use it. At least they provided me with the keys to another room 3 floors over that had hot water. ~There was terrible smell in the common areas. ~The staff couldn't speak any English. ~The bed was way too short for me, and I'm not very tall. They say you get what you pay for but there are actually much better alternatives for the same price in Chișinău.

In the first half hour, in room 411, bedbugs bit me as I lay on the bed. Four red bite marks appeared. Would this ruin your visit?

The rooms were large and well-kept. Some, I repeat, some of the staff spoke English.
