There's just one shower for all the people and two toilets which are not 100% in proper condition nor clean. Also the common areas are nice but the fridge, kitchen and counters are very dirty.

The place is unkempt, it definitely needs more love to be nice (like use of appropriate size of trash bags, place some trash cans in bathroom, clean the drains, etc). There's no sheet cover for the duvet, so it's just reused bare. The fridge was barely working, things did not were as cold as they should be inside it, and also a bit dirty. The kitchen could be a little bit better equiped.

Location is great, the room is of a decent size, the kitchen works, there's A/c both in rooms and common area. In general, the owner is helpful and nice.

There is no sign, so it was very difficult for me to get into the hostel.

The hostel is very closed to everything. It is very quiet and perfect place if you want to relax. The room is very clean including the bed sheets.

Nothing to dislike, but if their one problem it's trying to find the hostel as the maps take you to another building.

To improve: More attention should be given to the cleanliness; The utensils in the kitchen were not that many; pots were missing too.

The hostel is centrally located. The central bus station is approx. 25 walking min. away; grocery stores nearby. The lady who owns the owns the place is very friendly and attentive. Wifi is stable. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen available. Recommend it!

A bit of a walk to the train/bus station. One of the bathrooms could be a bit cleaner.

Spacious room with lockers, towel provided, kitchen with everything you need, good wifi and AC. The lady who owns the place is super kind and let me leave my luggage after check-out and even shower in the evening before my night train!!

The hostel itself was a little hard to find, as there is no exterior signage. It's in an apartment building and you have to walk a little away from the street to find the entrance with "71" by the door. I liked everything else about the place. Anyone who is tall should take a top bunk as the bottom bunks have limited space for sitting upright (wasn't a big deal for me at 5'4" (162cm).

The hostel was quiet and clean, and having a washer and dryer to do laundry was amazing. The staff was very helpful in advance of my stay as well as once I arrived. The location was great just a short walk less than 10 minutes to the center of town.

It can't be helped but the people in my room when I was there weren't particularly sociable!

The room was spacious and the aircon worked really well. The kitchen looked really good although I didn't use it. The owner of the hostel was really helpful and replied quickly. The price included a towel which was nice. It's really close to places to go out, some nice coffee spots and the old bridge and the river.

Brand new hostel with a location that couldn't be better. Ivana the owner is working hard to set up the place complete with everything required. Beds are comfortable and not rickety. Big bathroom and shower, equipped kitchen. ACs in the rooms, good wifi, easy access protocols. Can't beat the location, a 5 minute walk from independence square and Gorica park, many small cafes and restaurants around.

The refrigerator doesn't work. There is water accumulating in the shower area and it is difficult to drain the water.

My friend and I stayed there the night of the 15th of august. There was a huge fight in the hostel between two russian guys and a guy pretending to be the owner. The guests were drunk but my opinion not aggressive. The other guy beat them really hard snd kick them out of the hostel. We didnt sleep at all. The morning after the real owner of the hostel was really sorry and gave us a refound. It is possible that the hostel is a nice place when the lady is there. However there are reviews of the 15th of august giving 10 to this hostel and i can assure you all the other guests were scared and mad. THESE REVIEWS ARE FAKE

This place was soooo dirty and stinky, I didn't want to use the kitchen or the bathroom, it was disgusting. It hadn't been cleaned for a while. The bottom beds do not have enough room - the top bed is so low down! It's impossible to sit on the bed and even going to bed was hard because of the small gap. Also the rooms are no longer as on the photos - they have put extra beds in so there is no space. Very disappointing, especially considering the surprisingly high review score. It is not worth it.

Legally there is a problem here..1 shower for 16 beds. Absolutely terrible, this is nothing more than an apartment converted into a cramped, dirty, unhygienic Hostel

Unhygienic: The major ick was there is no top sheet or duvet cover for the beds. Guest after guest are likely sharing the duvet without a sheet. However, I phoned for another sheet and the manager provided a sheet within 30 seconds. Other guests were not so lucky. Another guest complained of itchiness from using a duvet without a cover. The manager did confirm the duvets were regular washed. But there is no way it's possible to wash the duvets each time with the high turnover of guests. The large bathroom is nice, but good luck getting in there with frequent use by guests. The other bathroom is grim and looks unclean. There is a plastic toilet freshener on the sink tap (please tell me it was never inside the toilet bowl!) There is no soap provided in the small bathroom. Hard to find: Even after reading all the comments, and taking screenshots of the door I found it hard to get in. The manager didn't answer her phone. Tip.. if the door looks slightly different to the photo, walk around to the other side of the building. Pretty sure someone stole my charging cable. - just a word of warning to keep everything in the locker! Overall: I would not recommend. Apparently there isnt much option for other hostels. Do yourself a favour and get somewhere nice. Or skip Pogderica all together. Truely, you won't be missing much.
