The beds were not very comfortable; they could do with renewing the mattresses. This was the only thing that could be improved.

The staff were really nice and welcoming. We enjoyed the swimming pool and appreciated that there was shade to be found because the weather was so hot. The apartment was conveniently located near to restaurants and the bay. Loved having air con and a balcony with a sea view.

The location is great, beautiful views from our balcony. Only a 30 minute walk into the old town, and the walk is very picturesque. The apartment was clean and compact with the essentials. Lots of restaurants to choose from. The pool was small and relaxing. The staff are fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, they really look after you. I wouldn’t hesitate to book these apartments again.

It’s a bit far from Kotor old town to walk. About 40 minutes. We were lucky it was too hot but if you struggle with heat or walking this might be too far Be great to also have tea or coffee in the room but there were facilities nearby so not a major issue.

The property was clean, modern, comfortable. Staff were friendly and gave us a free upgrade which was very much welcomed after three days of hiking. The upgraded room had a private terrace and hot tub which was lovely with great views. You could hire bikes to cycle into Kotor if you wanted

Had a wonderful stay at Alkima in mid-October. We really enjoyed jacuzzi, pool and bicycling around Kotor Bay area. Bicycles were included in the price. Breakfast was delicious. There were a few small turtles in the pool area.

Nothing at all, the best hotel I've stayed in. The room could be modernised if I was being really picky, but it's clearly well looked after and not at all shabby.

Amazing stay, do not hesitate to book either Alkima Hotel or Jovanovic apartments (the hotel is newer and where you ask for the taxi to, the apartments are inside). The receptionists couldn't do more to help you, they explained everything. The cleaner was friendly, extremely good and she didn't bother us when we stayed in until 11.30 one morning. The area is peaceful, good restaurants nearby and a gorgeous 30 min walk into Kotor. A very personal hotel, I felt very welcome and at home to come and go as I wanted.

The stay at this hotel was truly exceptional! The staff were very nice and we felt very welcome from the very beginning. The hotel offers all the amenities - clean, comfortable rooms, and there was always nice music playing at the pool, which created a very relaxing atmosphere. The location is an additional advantage - everything was close by, and on site you could rent bikes and explore the area, which turned out to be a bull's eye. Last day, when we checked out we can use swimming pool and all we need, when we have to came back it was raining, and the receptionist called her colleague who took us to the bus station. Such care for guests is a real rarity! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place with heart and professional service.

It didn’t bother us but just be mindful it is a 30-35 minute walk to the Old Town which can be tricky with bags and high temperatures.

Brilliant location in Dobrota. 2 minutes walk away from the Bay which we went swimming in every day. Much easier to access swimming here than it is in the old town. We loved the pool and the outdoor terrace overlooking the bay. The staff were fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming. They helped us with accessing buses and booked a taxi for us. It was the perfect choice still being within walking distance to the Old Town but having the serenity of Dobrota. We would definitely stay again.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

A beautiful unit is equipped with everything we need. closed to the beach, and a 5-minute drive to the old city with sptcular views. When we came, the AC was up and running for us already. The host was very accommodating and supplied us with guidance and everything we needed. The room service cleaned and replaced our towels for the next day, and even washed our dishes

The mattress had a big dip in it which gave me a back pain. We had two apartments so I managed to sleep in another bed for the week.

Apartments were great. We loved the tortoise family and the garden and pool area. The little beach area was brilliant.

Great staff, pool and location. A one minute walk to the sea. Situated in a quiet part of Dobrota, it's a wonderful spot for a relaxing holiday. With Kotor 35 minutes by foot or 5 minutes by taxi, you can't go wrong. The Bay of Kotor is one of the most beautiful spots in Europe and this is the perfect place to experience it.

Everything was as presented and advertised

We spent considerable time researching accomodation around Kotor and Perast and Budva. Our criteria were pool, balcony, walking distance to old town, supermarket, restaurants, water front. Yes we were specific and we wanted an apartment where we could have breakfast and lunch in . Well we found it and we were really happy. The apartment could have been updated but for the price we couldn’t complain. We were surprised it had a daily cleaning service with fresh towels. The bonus was the staff were SO nice and couldn’t do enough for us. Even when our transport failed to show on checkout they quickly called their contacts, and problem solved and they made sure we weren’t overcharged since it was a last minute booking back to Dubrovnik. 10 stars if we could

An absolute fantastic place to stay. Excellent location with beautiful views from the upper 2 bedroom apartment. Pictures didn't do it justice. Easy walk into Kotor. No nasty cruise ships parked in the bay in your line of sight. Staff was so helpful and friendly.

With my partner Simon we had an incredible stay at this hotel. From beginning to end they made our experience in Montenegro one of the best we have had throughout our trips. Comfortable and equipped apartment. Comfortable bed, good AC and most importantly, everything is very clean. We use the hotel facilities such as a jacuzzi, swimming pool (you can order drinks), in addition to bicycles. Everything in perfect condition. The breakfast is very complete and good price. We took it twice and the taste of the products was fresh and delicious. The housekeeping lady prepared a little surprise for my boyfriend for his birthday, a very nice detail. Congratulations to the great team you have and we thank each of the people who work there for everything, we hope to return next time.
