How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

All good.
Great location, clean and very comfortable. It is in a very busy vibrant part of the city but it was reasonably well soundproofed and not an issue. The host was lovely.

The parking was a little confusing at first but the host made sure we knew where to park so we didn't get a fine and was really helpful
Amazing location right in the centre. The host met us to let us in and was really friendly and welcoming even though our two boys were very excited and asking lots of questions. Beds were comfortable and the apartment has everything you need.

The location closet to principal attractions. Safe and Beaut location. Bakery and stores in front of the apartment. Lovely Mirian and Nikolas. Parking is outside the property, but Nikolas helped us to park our car.

All perfect - thank you !
Lovely warm welcome from Mirjam also very prompt replies to questions etc. Sorted our taxi out for us (lovely Nicolas) who also helped sort our sim cards). Thank you both. Flat is lovely and perfect location it was just an overnight stay. The room sizes are bigger than the photos. Kitchen seems well equipped but we didn't use it. Excellent Air Conditioning throughout.

Perfect accommodation. Mrs. Mirjam was excellent, perfect location, transportation from and to the airport, easy communication. Many restaurants and all kinds of shops nearby The apartment was clean and well equipped, for example with a washing machine and a dishwasher. Air conditioning. The apartment was quiet. We will definitely be back.

Important to know for some that you must climb stairs to access the apartment and there is a strong smell Of smoke in the stairwells. This is not the fault of the apartment, just a reality of the building.
Mijrjam was super helpful. Apartment spacious and comfortable.

The flat is great with all you need. Rooms are big, beds are comfortable, kitchen is well equipped. Very centered and close to everything in old town. Mirjam is very lovely and charming. My stay there was very nice.

Honestly was a great stay, for an "exceptional" only TVs in the bedrooms and a bath tub would have been missing :D

Well-equipped, clean and comfortable apartment in the centre area, ideal for families. Fast and well organized check-in procedure (if you provide the time of arrival in advance). Mirjam, the owner is very kind and helpful, she gives really useful hints especially concerning parkings which is always challenging for foreigners in downtown. Highly recommended.

The heaters weren't working so well. That's about it.
Location was great, right in the center. Walking to most places was easy. Taxi services were just a few meters away. very convenient for getting to and from the airport.

I couldn't get the Aircon to work in the bedrooms but it's definitely not a deal-breaker.
Mirjam was really helpful and very welcoming. The apartment is literally in the center and you have everything you need with 1-2 mins of it. The apartment itself is incredibly nice

Lack of information on operating/using the TV.
Location - very central. Ease of access to the apartment. Welcoming host. Lots of useful information provided, by the host, both on our arrival and written information in the apartment. Air-con was a must for me and it operated well. Two balconies! Supermarket within 100 metres plus restaurants and cafes within similar distance.
