This was probably one of the best experience I ever had! Spending two nights at this lovely artistic place was like a dream. Marija and her husband give us unforgettable memories. Everything was more than perfect! We are eternally greatful to meet them.

This property is an absolute gem in Podgorica! The room is lovely and the patio with its overhanging kiwi vine magical! Our wonderful hosts greeted us with refreshing lemonade and homemade cake. We can’t wait to return!

We liked it all! Walking distance to the interesting locations of Podgorica and a real gem. Hospitality second to none.

Our welcome was absolutely exceptional. Our host was waiting for us outside, saving a parking space for us in the twisty, narrow streets of the old town. He then took us inside, served us homemade lemonade and Kiwi juices, as well as homemade cakes! There is artwork everywhere and we felt like we had been welcomed into a home like we were family. The house has been in the family for a century and is a genuine Montenegrin home. Would definitely stay here again!

I cannot believe how nice and welcoming Maria and Zaki have been. They made us feel right at home. Very helpful and hospitable. The place has exceptional decor and their love for art is evident. Days later and I'm still smiling thinking about the taste of Maria's kiwi punch and jaffa cake!

Marija and Žaro are really welcoming and friendly. They shared homemade lemonade and cake with us and also organized a very friendly taxi driver to pick us up. The guesthouse and especially the yard are beautiful!

Maria and Zaro are exceptional hosts, and staying at their apartment was a true pleasure. They were incredibly kind, engaging in great conversations, thoroughly explaining everything about the apartment, and even offering drinks and snacks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to others!

Parking is difficult as streets are narrow and one way. Parked nearby and host help me repark closer.

Host was very friendly and efficient. Offered juices fruit and recommended several extremely close restaurants in walking distance. Room was clean and safe. There was a dog barking on occasion but rolerable.. Great location and safe. All comforts of home. Beautiful house. Highly recommend

For backpackers and open-minded travelers, this house is truly incredible and promises a unique experience. However, if you’re a bit older like me, you might find sharing a bathroom takes some getting used to.

The HeArt Guesthouse is a truly special place with a unique, artsy atmosphere and an incredible warmth. The hosts, Marija and Zaro, are genuinely welcoming, going above and beyond to make us feel at home. We arrived to a wonderful greeting of homemade cakes and fresh juice from their own kiwi plant, which hangs beautifully over the outdoor area. My 5-year-old daughter felt instantly at ease with them, bonding so deeply that she wanted to "adopt" Marija and Zaro as family and was heartbroken not to say a proper goodbye. The guesthouse was originally Marija and Zaro's family home, and it still feels like one—staying here is like visiting close family, with all the comfort and familiarity that this brings.

I really liked everything about the stay. It had a very welcoming and homely atmosphere with a lovely greeting including homemade lemonade, cookies, and coffee. The owner had a fascinating art collection, and there were so many interesting things to look at. The room was charming and clean, and all the shared spaces were very pleasant. There was also a wonderful garden with plenty of seating areas and a pergola covered in kiwis. We’d love to come back again! Extra points for the adorable dogs! 🐶😊

This is a beautiful traditional house which has been thoughtfully furnished with paintings and other art. Ideally situated in the middle of the old town, walking distance to everything you need, no need to hire a car unless you want to go further afield. Best of all is the wonderful kindness and hospitality you will receive from Marjia, Zaro and their son. They will treat you like family. We would go back in a heartbeat.
