We are sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we feel it is necessary to clarify several points from your review. Our property is located in the heart of Durmitor National Park, at an altitude of 1500 meters. Staying in nature inevitably includes the occasional presence of insects – this is a normal and expected part of the mountain environment, not an "infestation" as described. All our windows are equipped with insect screens, and the units are regularly cleaned and maintained. Regarding the temperature – we are in a mountainous region where summer nights are fresh, often between 12–16°C. Air conditioning is neither necessary nor typical here; most guests actually wear jackets in the evenings. The bedroom layout, including the staircase leading to the upper floor, is clearly shown in the photos and description on our Booking.com page. Your mother, whom you mentioned in the review, had no difficulty going upstairs to view the bedroom upon arrival. On the day of your early departure, we kindly asked if you would like help finding alternative accommodation in Žabljak, but you informed us that you were heading to Budva because the mountains were clearly not for you. That choice confirms the reason for your early departure was not related to the accommodation itself, but to your personal preferences. We respect every guest's opinion, but we also believe it’s important to provide a truthful and accurate picture.

As for your comment about the outdoor seating – our benches are made of solid wood due to the mountain climate and high humidity, which makes it impractical to keep cushions outside permanently. However, had you let us know, we would have gladly provided cushions during the day to make your time outdoors more comfortable. That said, we were quite surprised that such a detail significantly affected your overall rating. Thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed at Hedonist Village. For the internet, there is no wire internet option here. As you said, we are surrounded by mountains and logically the wireless signal is bad. We contacted support several times and received an explanation that the network in Montenegro is overloaded, so we cannot affect on that. The price of breakfast is 8 euros per person, it is free for children up to 6 years old. The choice for breakfast is: eggs, various hams, cheese, cream (kajmak), white bread, wholemeal bread, french toast, granola, muesli, cornflakes, butter, jam, chocolate cream, apple juice, lemonade, vegetable, tea, coffee, milk, yogurt, sour milk. If you had only an omelette and coffee for breakfast anywhere in Zabljak, you would certainly pay more than 8 euros. The only cheaper option than our breakfast is to buy a sandwich at the bakery. We don't actually make any profit from breakfast, the point is that our guests have comfort, that they don't have to prepare or go to Zabljak for breakfast.

Thank you for your rating. First of all, we try to keep the cleanliness at a very high level, as you said, while you gave the cleanliness rating a 5 out of 10? Stairs can be clearly seen on photos, and I am sorry that it was so dramatic for you. Regarding the price, you choose offer on Booking by yourself, it was without additional hidden costs and you shoud keep in mind Booking's commission of 20%, 7% tax, as well as the fact you also had accommodation in Zabljak for 50 euros, but you still chose us for a reason.
