Reviews of Lanterna Apartments 3 stars

We got a room that faces the Kotor Bay & views were very good. There is a restaurant right outside the property so easy to grab some beer while enjoying the views of Kotor Bay. The area has decent connectivity with buses (not so frequent) & cabs. A perfect spot to stay if you want to enjoy Kotor Bay lifestyle of the locals. The host is very nice & accommodating. But be ready to pay with cash.

The host met us, showed and explained everything. Was very nice and polite! View from the window was superb.

Next to our room there were people occasionally smoking and the smell got into our room.

Quiet appartment with all comfort you need with great views

The location was great, it is right above the sea. So, beautiful views and it was neat and clean as well. The hostess was really helpful and friendly as well.

The wifi was really bad on the top floor. It was fine on the first floor, but terrible at the second.

Helpful and nice owner. Beautiful stone house with nice private terrace belonging only to apartment. Localistation near to water. Owner offers us free sunbeds.

Leaking pipe was slowly flooding the bathroom for all day long. Non-flowing water from shower-tray. Stench from kitchen drain was around whole apartment - it was necessary to lock the drain and fill it will little amount of water to block the nasty smell. Salt shaker was empty, two lights was not working. In the evening noise from the air conditioners based on roof was very loud.

Everything was just the way that it should be.

The view from the window is very beautiful with a wonderful landscape. The swimming area is right in front of the apartment. Also, the parking space is in front of the house.

Apartment is realy close to the sea

Fantastic location next to the coast with a beautiful view of the Bay of Kotor. The apartments are decorated with taste, they have everything you need to feel like at home, and right in front is the Lanterna tavern with exceptional cuisine to fully enjoy the sea, the view, and the specialties. Free parking and 2 sunbeds per apartment are provided.

Great location on the waterfront, nice balcony and views across the water

Kettle and kitchen but no tea and coffee provided. No nearby shops, not many places to eat and drink.

Location is ideal in that the apartment is a 15 minute drive from the old town (assuming no traffic which is quite rare). Air conditioning was included which was a godsend. Everything needed for self catering was provided. Multiple parking spots were available to choose from. Local store and restaurant options are close by.

Not a problem associated with the apartment but the traffice between our apartment and Kotor was crazy at specific points in the day. Future tenants should consider this when planning their day. Not an issue for us as we already had our itinerary mapped out but the provision of advice including fliers/tips for trips/excursions was not readily available.

Excellent location right on the Adriatic Sea. And the hostess was such a delight!

The bed was a bit stiff but that’s also due to my own back issues.

Room is exceptional, has everything you need, great location, easy access to the sea, free parking , you will need to drive 15min to Kotor or 40 min walk

September is no longer a "season", so when we arrived -everything was closed-no supermarket downstairs, no restaurant across the road. Be prepared to search for restaurants and to be told half of the menu not available and opening times are very different.
