There is only one bathroom for the whole hostel. I also had to wait for half an hour for the receptionist to come (I wasnt the only one) and when he appeared he wasnt exactly polite, and during the whole stay he was sometimes nice and smiley, sometimes rather rude - maybe it is a question of the language, but it should not happen.

There is only one bathroom so it was hard for us. If someone is in the shower, you can’t do your toilet maybe 20min?😮‍💨 also kitchen is not so clean, food area should be clean, such as refrigerator

Loved that location, ıts in old-town and you can go quickly to everywhere. You can walk to beach 10min only. Also there are too many restaurants and cafes.

There is only 1 bathroom which is not convenient for 20 people. It also wasn't very clean. Splitting shower and toilet would also already be nice.

Bit hard to find but hosts were very responsive and helpful. Host gave us recommendations as to what we could do in the area. We got a private room even though we booked a dorm, which was very nice. The location is great as it is in the center of the Old Town. One of the cheaper options in the Old Town, so worth it for a short stay!

Excellent location, the host was really helpful throughout the stay. It is really value for money, extended a night stay with host's flexibility. Would definitely come back if I am ever in Kotor again.

We didn’t have any aircon in the upstairs room which made it very hot and only having one toilet between like 20 people was a bit of a joke as it wasn’t that cheap.

So well located right in the centre of Kotor. Beds are also very comfortable and come with privacy curtains.

I stayed here for my workation- I appreciate host Nadja's kindness and support in organizing some workspace for me and all the useful tips about experiencing Kotor. They don’t provide registration if you’re staying for less than 4 days – you have to go to the post office and register yourself, which is a bit inconvenient.

I really liked the location of Majka Guest House – it's right in the center of the old town, with plenty of cafes and shops nearby. There is secure luggage storage with a lock and curtains on the beds, which adds privacy. I would definitely stay here again.

1. One bathroom/shower room for entire hostel which is not clean well due to high volume of the guests 2. Noise from the Old town pub 3. Check out time is too early 4. You must to have always a hostel key with you to get in as it is always locked 5. No reception 24/7. Only texting or available in day time 6. The washroom door handle was broken 7. They accept only cash for payment. No credit card. So care always cash if planning to stay 8. The stairs noisy when stepping which makes uncomfortable for you. So will try not to go out from the room at night

Only 1 bathroom. Luckily during my stay this didn't cause any inconvenience. However it wasn't the cleanest and the door knob felt off. Awkward.

Best hostel mattress in entire Montenegro. Huge, comfy, with privacy curtain and 3 power plugs. Location in the city center. However door was hard to find. My tipp: turn left at restaurant przun and look to ur right, you will see the hostel sign. Has a terrace and kitchen. Kind owner and employees.

Nadja is the absolute best hostel worker! Good hostel right in the centre of the old down only like 10mins from the bus stop. There was only 1 bathroom for a 14 bed dorm though

They are making a second one just fyi, but there is only one bathroom/shower for all 20 people in the dorms. Surprisingly wasn't as bad as you might expect, was quite clean, it's a nice bathroom and people were quite respectful that there was only one bathroom and tried to be quick, no one was taking an hour or anything, but occasionally there was a bit of a queue during peak times. Also would've been nice to have a plug/socket for each bed to charge our things but there were a few in the room that we shared. It's one of those balkan hostels where it was somebody's house, converted into a hostel so these kinds of set-ups are common.

This was one of the best hostels I've stayed in for a long time. Nadja was so lovely and welcoming, really friendly and made me feel at home and welcome, happy to answer any questions I had and did what she could to make my stay wonderful. Beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, privacy curtains, very solid bunk beds, best night of sleep I've had in a while! Provided towels were appreciated, dorm has great air conditioning. Location is right in the old town! Key is the size of the hostel and the layout of the social area. If you're a solo traveller who wants to meet people I found it so easy to make new friends here, thanks to the small number of people in the dorm rooms (total 20 people I think?) and the cosy size of the social terrace space which facilitates community and conversation. Nothing like other hostels with too big common areas where everybody hides in the corners and keeps to themselves 😂 Made fast friends and went on adventures on all the days I was here.

there's only one bathroom for more or less 12-14 people. sometimes you need to wait but it's manageable.

the location is awesome. also, Nadja, who is working there, is the best! amazing person, very helpful and hospitable. such a sweetheart and needed to be respected!
