A really lovely chalet in a beautiful location and a perfect base from which to explore the mountains.

Only minor quibble is there was a bit of construction noise from a couple of nearby building sites but there are similar sites all around Zabljak.

Really comfortable, cosy, with everything we needed. Really good location. Our hosts were fantastic, really responsive to an issue with the fridge.

A charming village home facing stunning mountains

    • Three-Bedroom House
    • Stayed 5 nights

This lovely village house is equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, and coffee machine, although it lacks a microwave. Additionally, the house features a very cozy fireplace and numerous small details that contribute to its charming village atmosphere. Outside, there is a BBQ area. The house is ideally situated among all the popular routes, with each being just a 10-minute drive away. All the well-liked restaurants, grocery stores, and a gas station are also nearby. Some routes can even be accessed directly from the house. The only issue we encountered was a slightly unstable Internet connection, which, thankfully, did not hinder me from completing an urgent work task online. Our host was consistently available and responsive whenever we reached out.

Lovely homely cabin in a quiet location.

Third bedroom with bunk bed is only really for children. My 22 year old daughter slept in bedroom 2, and my 20 year old son slept in bedroom 3 with the bunk bed which is really for children (the bunk is a bit creaky).

Quiet, Three lots of outside seating for morning and evening. Lovely view. Private driveway. Homely and comfortable.

Pretty but small and hard to find.

The cabin was hard to find. The whole area has one name, no streetnames or house numbers. There were arrows to many lodges and rentals but not this cabin. The name wasn't even posted on the gate or the house so it was difficult to identify. The pin on the map they gave obscured most of the roads so it was hard to determine its location. The road is a dirt road that deadends. The cabin is quite small and stuffed full with furniture and nicnacs. Makes it pretty but cramped. There is room to sleep 6 people but only room for 4 at the dining table. I would not recommend staying with more then 4 persons. The cabin was very cold when we arrived and the only heating was the woodstove in the loungeroom, it took a day and night of continuous fire before the cabin was warm up into the bedrooms. (It was end september and quite cold outside, around freezingpoint at night) There was no kindling or cardboard to light the fire, only kerosene blocks and big wood. This made lighting the fire a challenge. When we asked for kindling or an axe so we could chop it ourselves the host was not helpful. We had to take the trash out into town when we left. The town is not very near, you have to take the car to get there.

It was a beautiful cabin with a big covered terrace in the front. The host had left a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates as a welcome gift. There was plenty of firewood for the woodstove. The kitchen was in good condition with an oven and a dishwasher and plenty of pots.
