No kitchen and owner was more concerned with the city tax than anything else.

theres no kitchen anymore but it shows sharing kitchen still, one of the things they make me feel really bad is after check out, i sitting at the outside garden but they ask me to pay or leave, and tell me that hostel is like this. thats so bad to have a hostel like this.

the location is really nearby the bus station, thats the best things, and the toilet is clean enough too, wifi working good！

The bed was quite small and the sponge was thin. I felt the wood of the bunk bed on my back and could not sleep properly. In addition, the staff did not speak English.

The location of the facility is great. You can walk everywhere by foot. The price is good for short accommodation.

In the basement triple room, one bed was quite creaky and bouncy. During my one evening and morning, there was nobody at the reception, though it was possible to call someone by phone.

Only stayed here one night, in the basement triple room. For a budget option it is quite good. The place looks nice and cosy, the outside terrace is chill for summer. The wifi works well. The showers were okay. The location is close to everything you need.

As I arrived for check in I was "welcomed" by a strange woman who didn't speak a word of English and insisted on speaking to me only in Montenegrian which I absolutely don't speak nor understand since I'm French. She then used Google Translate to communicate and told me there were no beds available anymore, even tho I had received a booking confirmation from booking.com. After a while she came back from the rooms and told me there was one bed left, pay cash. Guests there were not social and didnt speak, weird vibe going on there. The way from the street gate to the hostel reeked of urine. Absolutely don't recommend this hostel unless you have no choice.

I met a guest from the same country as me there who helped me check in because the manager/host could not understand a single English word.

This place is falling apart. Literally everything is falling apart. The shower rod was held up by wire to the ceiling, toilet seat was broken, paint is peeling off throughout the place, a/c unit was held up by a wood palette, I could go on and on. The place is just absolutely disgusting and dirty in every way. Bathrooms look like they haven’t been cleaned since World War 1. I wouldn’t even know where to start cleaning honesty it is THAT bad. The place absolutely REAKS of cat piss, ammonia and mildew. The entire place is damp and stuffy. Every time we returned we would return to the property from being outside we would gag it was unbearable. This place is 100% a health hazard. There are more animals running around this place than there are guests. I wouldn’t even let a dead body sleep here. Absolutely awful, take it from me and stay somewhere else if you can. Location is good though and close to the station and town center.

The hostel is centrally located and run by a family. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. The dorm room is good it is located in a house. The bathroom is on the same floor as the dorm room. I found the bathroom to be clean in comparison to other places. They have dogs and cats - so if you have allergy or fear animals keep this in mind. The owners gave me an egg for Easter it felt really nice to be part of this tradition :) Thank you

One guy asked me to get out of the hostel when I was sitting outside because they wanted to renovate their garden. They could ask me to sit somewhere else nicer. The new room wasn't ready. They were still working on it and it smelled like a strong paint smell.. The room was very very humid and everything became sticky. Dogs are barking too much especially in the early morning. One of the dogs keeps barking and chasing at the many guests, and is annoying.

The woman who manages the hostel is very nice. It will probably be better once they finish all the renovation.

This is a very central place close to the bus station, the train station, restaurants and shops. The neighborhood is quiet and the best part of it is the owner. Since the first moment I entered the hostel, Misko greeted me very warmly and with a lot of respect. Me being a long time traveler haven't meet someone as charismatic and gentle like him before. It is sad for me to read so many reviews talking in such a derogative tone about the hostel as I had a completely different experience here. The room was very clean as well as the bathroom and the place is quite cozy, with a beautiful garden were to chill. For the location, facilities and treatment the price is very very good. I'll come back here and stay more days and to have a lovely conversation with Misko.

The location is in the middle of the bus station and the center so everything is around, the staf also nice people it's a family they don't speak english but they do their best to communicate and to hear the clients demands, the dorm is correct, the mother don't hesitate to clean and check everything everytime.I recommend it and If i pass by Podgorica next time for sure i'm going to come back

For the price and location it was not as bad but come on! It is podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. I have slept in other best hostel in Spain and Portugal for the same price. In Hostel Munich they need to improve several things. 1- Only a very small bathroom for a mixed room of 6 people, did not have a basket for the papers, did not have a curtain in the shower then the water accumulated on the floor and was dangerous to walk there because a person can skate and split his head. 2- The kitchen is stuck to the room (which does not have a door!) So the person who cooks can be heard quietly and feel all the smells in the room because the odor extractor does not work. I talked to the owners about the smell of humidity in the room (on the ceiling there is a huge stain of humidity up the beds). And they explained to me about the smell it was because of a person of the USA who cooked fries for many days and that rancid smell was left Impregnated. I understand this but in the kitchen there was not a sponge to wash the dishes and not even an atmosphere aromatizer, aromatic candles, incense or something to turn off that smell. As they do not care, in order to make only money and receive a good reference. 3- I had ordered a low bed in my reservation and when I arrived at night they were all occupied. I had to take a bed from above that trembled and a lot of noise just move to cover you with the blanket. I told the lady to the next day, when she came to collect the money and he told me that there is no problem and that I could change rooms (a room with 2 beds in Old Town Apartment) but I had to wait until later to vacate the room. When I return for the night of my trip to Budva and Kotor was only her husband and the Lord told me there were no other beds available and that his wife had not notified anything about the situation! He called her several times and she never answered or bother to comment on what she had talked about with me.

Room was different from the one in the pics, with mold on the ceiling and WATER dripping down one wall from the outside...a host cleaned the kitchen and found some bread that was months old. Not to mention the old grease/dirt/whatever he found in the microwave...room had no door (was left leaning on a corner), no furniture and little to no plugs. This hostel goes under many names, guess to avoid bad reviews -- maybe the double rooms were a bit more decent as they were on another building, but this seemed more like a garage readapted to host people and have a kitchen/bathroom in it.

very strange place like Brazilian favelas, it is not clear where the guests are and where the owners of the place are. unpleasant smell. also they took another 1 euro as a local tax, although I think they made it up. they only accept cash which is also not very good. maximum for one night, so as not to spend the night outside
