Everything was great! The studio was spotless, and the view was absolutely incredible, you could never get enough of it, no matter the time of day. Having a car is essential, as the property is located up on the heights above Budva. The host was very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Our room wasn’t fantastic - very basic. Smelt a little strange and the toilet was broken as it leaked every time we flushed it. Be prepared for an incredibly steep hill to get up to it which can be tricky in the heat.

There were no curtains in our room and it gets light very early. Generators running outside meant we couldn’t open the windows either. So unfortunately we slept quite badly throughout our stay

The view from this property is incredible. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Clean and spacious room/ balcony. Don’t underestimate the walk up the hill though - we did it with our hold luggage and were on the verge of calling the Red Cross! We were aware of this beforehand though and were happy for the trade off for the view and peace away from the bustle. Ask for taxi numbers ahead and you can WhatsApp one up from the town centre for €5. DO NOT just get a taxi from the street (or airport) or you will get ripped off

The location is definitely very close to the centre of Budva, but there is a steep climb to get to the accommodation, so I would advise anyone who is not very fit to come here by car. Otherwise, the view is stunning, the place is very beautiful and the owners are very kind and friendly!

Nothing! It was perfect!

Just amazing from start to finish! Host booked a taxi on our behalf for when we arrived. All taken care of. Check in was easy and the room was lovely and clean, showed to our room by the owners very cute dog ❤️ the view… wow! Out of this world. Budva offers everything! It’s around a 15 min walk down the hill into Budva, we did walk back up most days, but the walk is steep and so we did require a taxi some days. The walk is so worth it! Best view we have ever had! This accommodation is well worth the money and we would definitely book again! Thank you for a lovely stay 🥰

Not really a bad thing since the view makes it more than worth it. But it is on a very steep hill. We walked up it every time except for when arriving with our luggage.

Superb location on the top of a hill, the balcony is very cozy with a great view of all of budva. the rooms in general are very well equipped and nice.

The drive up to Villa Kalina was difficult with a steep climb & many hairpin bends. Impossible to walk up during the day with high temperatures, meaning you need to pack for the day and the night. To be fair, Jelena supplied taxi numbers.

There is no such thing.

The villa is exceptional - the location, the view, the bedroom. Clean, has everything you need (a fridge, even a small stove if you like to cook), shower, clean towels. There is nothing we have missed during our stay! On our first day - weather was slightly stormy and windy. We already had several blankets in the bedroom, but the host has brought us one more just to be safe and warm. Such attentiveness and care - true Montenegrin hospitality ❤️

Even though it is close to the centre, it is impossible to walk here as the slopes are too steep. Great view comes with a price :) but taxi to/from budva center is around 3-5 Euro which is affordable .

We chose the property for the amazing view and it was beautiful…..morning and night Yes the hill is big (mountain) it has to be for the view We managed to walk it a few times (not with shopping ) taxi numbers from Jelena were good but often busy at 5/6 when we wanted to be back hence we walked, easier if the sun was behind the hill ! We are fit and good walkers The room was well equipped and comfortable the balcony was a good size the building had a lovely aroma Nice quiet setting cold refreshments available especially after the walk 🥵 it was August The hosts were very helpful

Although the view is amazing, the road there is not that great… it is a really really inclined slope, really hardto get back to the property on foot, so you are dependent on the car most if the time

Very nice owners, there is a possibility of transfer from the airport to the apartment for people without a car. The apartment is located on a hill (which can be seen in the photos of the beautiful view), but it is easy to walk for a person of average fitness (if necessary, you can take a taxi). The apartment has air conditioning and wifi. Really worth recommending.

It is up a very steep hill - not really walkable, but taxis from the centre of Budva are reasonable and easy to arrange.

The only downside to the property is that it is up a very very steep hill. We had no problem walking down but a taxi was needed to get back up in the heat (3-5 euros) so bare this in mind if staying here. It took about 15mins to walk down to the old town. The hosts are very helpful to give taxi numbers as taxis on the street are much more expensive.

My friend and I stayed here for a couple of nights and booked the room with a balcony view. Highly recommend if you’re going to stay here. The view is beyond spectacular and so peaceful away from the busyness in the main area of budva. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and allowed us to leave our bags when we arrived early and after checkout. We also used their facilities on the last day to wash after the beach before our flight. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. The room had what we needed and the air con worked well which was needed in the heat of summer. We had a very comfortable stay.

Property is at the top of a steep hill, so just something to bear in mind for any one using a wheelchair or who has mobility issues

Large rooms with good facilities and a balcony with an incredible view of Budva bay, old town and Hawaii island. Hosts offered transport to airport and to Kotor, studios is run by a friendly couple who are always on hand to help with anything you need.

The soundproofing of the room wasn’t that great, as you could hear everything that your neighbours did.

This property had a wonderful view and the hosts were very helpful. There was a kettle and a small kitchen area to prepare food. The balcony was very nice even for a side view
