How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

It a little bit far away from the beach for walking distance but with a car couple of minutes.

These are the most welcoming hosts i ever had. Location is perfect, 10 minutes away from Ada Bojana. Good for couples or groups of people who would like to be room by room and maybe share a terrace.

Situated close enough to the beach so you can take a nice walk, while being far enough away from the main road so there is no traffic noise. There are also no clubs with loud music nearby so you can mostly hear crickets and birds. Private parking with plenty of space. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Very, very friendly owners. You will receive a warm welcome and everything you may need during your stay. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect! Appatments are very nice, clean, location is perfect with parinking slot which is protected of the sun. Hospitality was on a high level. If you want to do home office from there, this is also possible because wifi working very good.

Milaris Apartments prides itself on cleanliness, and it shows. The moment I stepped into my apartment, I was greeted by a spotless and well-maintained space. Every corner was immaculate, and the attention to detail was evident. The level of cleanliness truly contributed to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The apartment itself was beautifully furnished and thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a long day at beach. Haris and Enisa were exceptional as hosts. They were friendly, accommodating, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. In conclusion, my stay at Milaris Apartments was flawless. The impeccable cleanliness, comfortable accommodations, and the genuine care provided by the hosts made it an outstanding choice. It is still new and there are small “works in progress”. Easy to overlook in light of the hard work the owners are putting into it.
Clean new construction. Quiet street. Very reasonable price.

The stay was very successful. The owners were happy to give us tips telling us about local attractions and restaurants. We could always count on their help. The guesthouse is located in a quiet area and the whole building is kept very clean. The residents of the town are very friendly and positive towards tourists. I recommend everyone to stay in Vila Milaris, because we will definitely return there again. By the way, we warmly greet the Hosts - Artur and his wife.

At first glance, the accommodation looked fine – clean and decently equipped – but unfortunately, our overall experience was very disappointing. The bathroom constantly smelled of sewage, and hot water was almost never available. Upon arrival, the hosts tried to charge us an extra €135 for “taxes,” even though our reservation clearly stated that everything was included in the price. After we refused, we experienced daily unpleasantness: constant complaints about normal things such as the way we parked, the time we entered the property, or even the use of water. It felt as if everything bothered them, which made our stay very uncomfortable and stressful.
