Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe hotel doesn't have its own parking thus you should search for a place on the street, which is difficult.
Nice hotel. We have a small kitchen in our room. The breakfast (buffet) was really nice: bread and stuff on it, cheese, meat cuts, fruits, yogurts and cereals with drinks. Breakfast costs 10 dollars pro person but if you pay it with the price for a room they change it to 10 euros.

NetherlandsVery nice hotel, with a lovely courtyard where you can have your breakfast. Breakfast is good organised with fresh bread, croissants and fruit and lots more. You can also have dinner here, which I highly recommend. Compliments for Larra, she was really helpful and attentive.

United StatesThe room was a little small, as was the bathroom, but not so much as to be a problem.
Excellent location close to everything in Marigot. The room was smallish but not cramped, and the bed was super comfortable, A/C and wifi were great, and having a safe was a big plus. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower was great. Everything was very clean and kept that way by the great staff. Staff were excellent all round and a big shout out especially to the delightful Belem who checked me in. Breakfast was French style with yoghurt and fresh fruit, although the fruit could have been riper. Ham, cheese, good bread, coffee rounded it out and the staff again were wonderful. One thing that I hadn't expected was the quality of the food at dinner. It was exceptional and it was the best meal that I had in town. I would definitely stay here again.

United StatesWe are in our 80's with knee issues, but neglected to ask about an elevator when booking. We ended up with a nice duplex room on top floor - 50 steps to the door and an additional 13 up to bedroom. The staff moved our bags up and down both times, but it was a challenge to dash up to the room for a forgotten item! We had an interior view, over the backside of the hotel with a nice view of the hillside behind Marigot - and natural sounds from chickens and dogs.
Convenient, central location with multiple shops, restaurants and waterfront within walking distance - but it is a typical Caribbean town, so no high end diversions nearby. We had a car for two days, and parking near the hotel can be a challenge, but we lucked out at the end of both days, nearly in front of the hotel.

AustriaThe bathroom seemed to be a bit too small, especially the sink. Also, it would have been nice to have at least a small stove in the kitchen. There is no beach nearby and it takes you some 8min to get to the Marigot bus station to catch a bus that can take you to a beach.
The Junior Suite was comfortable, clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. There is a supermarket right across the street and the view at the view of hills from the balcony was beautiful.

MartiniqueMy first stay, I stayed in a room that was not really well cleaned. The second stay was much better. They should have better curtains that cut the bright lights of the lobby because it’s difficult to fall asleep with so much light in the room. The restaurant was closed.
Overall pretty clean. Pretty. And well located. The bed is very comfortable and I had restful nights. A supermarket right in front of the hotel.

Saint LuciaThe same breakfast every morning. I would appreciate a variety of breakfast options. The children would have been pleased to have a pool.
A perfect location. Very convenient location in the town of Marigot. The supermarkets, stores, the fort and the harbor are all within walking distance. The hotel room was spacious to accommodate a family of four. There was certainly an element of privacy and tranquility. Our two bedroom, kitchen, one and a half bath and balcony space had all the required amenities that we needed.
