Chris is an amazing host and everything previous recommendations say is true! He went out of his way to help with tips for restaurants,lovely places and transport to Bulgaria which wasn't easy to find. The guesthouse is lush and lovely, we even stayed many hours just around the house as it was so comfortable there in the courtyard and shade. Prilep is a lovely authentic Macedonian town with great nature around. 100% recommended if you come to Prilep,look no further!

Third time here and always sad when leaving Hristjan and Mihael behind.

Still, shared bathroom is the worst when the accommodation is fully booked.

Pleasant environment, friendly staff, great location, cozy room...The house is very interesting. It's a short walk to the center of Prilep. Restaurants and other amenities are close by. You will be pleased to stay at Antika Guest House!

Footing is often uneven and there are steps and scatter rugs to watch out for. (Unexpected interior steps are very common here in North Macedonia, and travelers need to be aware.) This property is not accessible to folks in wheel chairs, and people with serious mobility issues might not be safe here. (These challenges are mitigated by Christian, a SUPER host who does his all to accommodate guests' needs and make them feel welcome.)

Location very close to village. Parking! Welcoming and super friendly owner and his helper. It was another experience and the price was right though had we known..we would have spent our night elsewhere for perhaps a few more denars...

No soundproof rooms. Load talking from outside until 1AM, then louder snoring through the night. Previous to that, neighborhood children bouncing balls against the fence next to our room. Not very clean, and everything is very old and worn out including the facilities(bed springs included..at least where we slept) This was the owners family home and he appears to be trying his best so maybe OK, for a hostel single traveler stop but not for a couple in their mid 70's..lol....though we are fit and energetic IF we get a good sleep...also a sharp bent nail used to lock shared bathroom cut my arm badly. They said they would fix this .

We really enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse. It's conveniently located and easy to find. The house itself is a beautifully restored historic building, carefully renovated by the owners to preserve its authentic style. The hosts even gave us a short tour, which made the experience feel even more special. We stayed in the most unique room in the house, which added a nice touch to our trip. There’s also a shared kitchen, a cozy living room, and a small terrace where you can relax and enjoy your time. The host was friendly, sociable, and made us feel very welcome.

The room was spacious and had two large windows. The heater kept the room warm during the cold nights. The bed was very comfortable. The house was close to the central square but on a side street, so it was quiet during the day and at night. There is a nice washing machine, dryer, and drying rack for doing laundry.

Criticizing this place is like finding fault with your grandma - you just dont do it.

Great place! The host is very helpful, responsive, and ready to assist with any inquiries. Location is perfect; very quiet and close to everything. Highly recommended!
