Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The accommodation was very pleasant, in a good location, close to everything important. There was also a private parking lot available, where parking was no problem at all. The apartment itself was very spacious and well-equipped, nothing was missing. The entire interior was tastefully, modernly, and nicely furnished. The room was exceptionally large, the bed comfortable, and the bedding clean and fragrant. I really appreciated the quality of the towels – they were fresh and soft to the touch. The staff was very kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. I personally recommend visiting the Fuktak restaurant right on the ground floor. For a very reasonable price, you can enjoy delicious food, and I suggest trying the local beer and fish specialties :) A walk around the nearby lake or a visit to the outdoor swimming pool is also very pleasant. We were very satisfied with the accommodation and will be happy to return. Highly recommended.

The AC seems to bit a little weaker capacity, but we have managed to cool the room down.
Very friendly staff, nice and very clean room. Fantastic food at the restaurant.

The hosts are very welcoming and kind. Apartment is clean, beds are comfortable, bathroom is equipped with basic hygiene items. You can order food from the restaurant, which is very tasty. Warm recommendation. We stayed for one night on our way to seaside.

The room was spotless, and the staff were wonderful — they even allowed us to check in early because we had a baby. There are also toys available for children, which was a lovely touch. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you might need and has its own private parking. The Fuk-Tak restaurant is, without a doubt, excellent.

We were there on Friday night, so there was some music in the restaurant until late hours.
It is a new, well furnished and clean apartment. It is above the restaurant which has excellent food. The location is perfect. The staff is friendly.

Friendly and professional staff members. Very clean room and comfortable beds. Also fuk tak restaurant has good , tasty meals with affordable prices. The experience was enjoyable. Would recommend and come back again.

The fact that we only slept one night there
Location is excellent, right in the center of Old Dojran. Breakfast was not included in the price (there is no such option), but there are several options for breakfast nearby. The apartment is nicely equipped for people who love ro cook during tbeir stay, but we stayed only 1 night,so were.not interested in cookung. The restaurant Fuk-Tak which is part of this object ,is famous for its fish specialities, so we went for a dinner and it was delicious. Very pleasant stay, although short, we are planning to come next time for at least couple of days

Everything was absolutely perfect! Comfortable and clean room with all the facilities you can imagine. Food in the restaurant was more than delicious. I cannot recommend FukTak enough.

Very strong smell of air fresheners in the apartments.
