around hotel it is classic dirt after season, when cover of snow is missing...restaurant inside looks like from 80s :-)

say classic ski resort hotel, which is good enoug to sleep over...lets say you do not travel to Macedonia for quality of hotels..., what is my experience they do not reach classic standards of EU, **** is maybe correct: restaurant, spa.... but details are missing (like paiting if the room...missing parts under heating...etc... nice breakfast for me best we had in Macedonia out of three hotels

The hotel is a bit warn out and needs renovation.

We had great stay at the hotel. Staff is friendly, restaurant is good as well. The SPA area is not large, but has the basics to enjoy your stay. We had a massage which was great. Maria explicitly asked if we had pain somewhere and focused there. Miraculously, a pain that I had for long time was relieved after.

The sauna temperature doesn't go as high as it should, but it's still enjoyable.

The staff went the extra mile when it comes to kindness, there was a tiny detail with our room and we got upgraded to a whole apartment room because of that. We felt very pampered during our stay (which we extended to 2 nights) The pool and sauna were very nice to relax after a hike!

Excellent location - starting point for hiking to surroundings peaks. Staff was very helpful and arranged transfer from Skopje airport and transfer to/from Bozovtse village. Breakfast and food in restaurant was delicious. Nice swimming pool and spa.

If you realy like to take a rest, Scardus and Popova Shapka are the best option, in every period of the year. Great location, nice facilities, great italian based food with local organic specialties like the Shar mountain blueberry jam. Friendly staff who wont take no for an answer. Great breakfast. Good pool and spa. Overall i recomend it.

They did not have small cold pool after sauna - but they did not have this anywhere we went to sauna in North Macedonia. Also some details in showers could be done better. But it is a nice place to stay.

Almost everything was perfect, great breakfast and meals in general, friendly staff Wellness was ok, sauna was not very hot and pool had some ventilation and drainage problem. But it worked and we could relax a bit. Fitness section was very basic. I recommend this accommodation.

Pool is little bit colder for winter season and dirty inside around the corners. Bed pillows were not comfortable. Only 3 chairs around the pool, but it is bot a big deal.

Swimming pool was cold, even though we called to the hotel before our reservation and it was confirmed that indoor pool is warm. Minibar was empty, hotel could put at least some bottle of water there.

The hotel is amazing, but the road that leads to the hotel (including the city of Tetovo) is bummy, full of holes and it seems that the roads haven't been renovated for decades. If the city wants to attract tourists, the road infrastructure is a top priority.

This is the second time I visit Hotel Scardus, and again this time I just confirmed my positive thoughts when it comes to the hotel. The stuff is amazing, very kind and friendly. The restaurant is huge and the menu is solid. It's a quiet place to sleep and rest. Also, the hotel is surrounded with an amazing mountain and hiking places for everyone, no matter how physicaly prepared you are. Definitely recommend it.

In Summer you cannot use the pool because it is too humid down there, but I guess in winter it is very nice. The air conditioning did not work (I think the whole hotel is made for winter and not for summer). The room is not newly renovated (little things you see).

Worn out furniture, especcially in the bathroom. Some things were broken - hangers and stuff. The hair dryer and the room telephone did not work.

Exellent locaion, beautiful nature. Very friendly and helpfull staff, very good food at the restaurant, plentiful breakfast with real espresso included. The room was clean.
