Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeIf the shuttle bus driver could understand Mandarin or English a little, we wouldn't have to worry about which stop to get off. Breakfast or dinner could have ala carte instead of buffet all the times, as we were small eaters.
This has been one of my favourite hotel with large room space since I first stayed. Moving around with the shuttle bus provided by the hotel was convenient and great ! I didn't have to wait until the bus is filled with people before it moves on. I get to visit other hotels and places easily. A friendly housekeeper kept my room clean and even line-up my cosmetics/facial items neatly on the vanity top. I loved the thick bathrobe, towels and toiletries provided. Dining is never a problem. We love the braised fish-head with red/green chillies at Red Bowl, 老友粉 and dim sum at 8 Treasures, Sashimi, sushi & japanese food at Zulu Zulu, nice yummy Cantonese food at 159.

Hong KongThe toilet paper was the thin type, but it's something that hotels normally do, unfortunately. I personally prefer those thicker and more layered ones. They could also provide wet tissues for intimate use, it would be nice.
The entire resort is a must-see site by itself! The architecture, the lobbies (yes, more than one: there are 4 lobbies in total), the shopping mall, the secret garden, it is all amazing. The room designs, the choice of linen, toiletries, furniture, everything is astonishing. Besides, the price we paid to stay there is super ok for what we received, to stay in such a high quality hotel anywhere else in the world would be more than double the price for sure! The small details were also a very nice touch, they gifted us with a small thermal bottle, a small essence pillow mist spray (the same one that they use when they come to set the bed for the night), they came twice a day to get the room tidy: late morning/afternoon to tidy up after our sleep, and again in the evening to prepare the bed for us to sleep, apply the pillow mist, put a water bottle and cup on our bedside table, put a cloth on the floor by each side of the bed so that we don't step directly on the carpet when getting in and out of bed, all the details make such a difference. On the last day, I went for a last "goodbye tour" after breakfast, and decided to quickly go into the sauna, however I didn't have any swimsuit on me. The staff gave me everything, a disposable bikini, slippers, hair tie. The changing room had the towels, toiletries, cream, hair dryer, all the amenities, I just had to walk in without bringing anything, and could enjoy the steam room one last time. In fact, it is so beautiful and relaxing, you feel like you're in some sort of heaven! The experience was unbelievable, and we definitely will stay there again if we go back to Macau.

Hong KongNight light switch could‘t be turned off on both sides of bed, too bright and disturbing during night! Curtain control to be improved, need to keep the button pressed until curtain opens or closes! Annoying! Breakfast very crowded at Grand Cafe and no plain joghurt available, limited variety of breads - great selection for Chinese travellers, not so much for Western travellers!
Spacious rooms and well designed; shopping mall lacks atmosphere and experience though! Need to highlight one team member: Alexis (girl from Qingdao ) from Front office: amazing service, super polite and professional, helped us with cross border bus, taxi arrangement, luggage storage, restaurant booking at Bamboo Hut etc… super charming!

MalaysiaBuffet breakfast options could be improved further, for example, by including seafood and fish.
I had a fantastic stay, the staff was exceptionally welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail was taken care of. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully designed for a luxurious experience. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel.

SingaporeThe room itself was well-appointed, with comfortable amenities and attentive service from the hotel staff. However, my experience took a disappointing turn when I realized I had left behind some personal items in the room's cabinet, including a Sephora neck pillow, a hat, and an eye pillow mask when I checked out at 12pm on 23 December. When I realised I forgot those items, I returned to the hotel at 4 pm to retrieve my belongings, I was dismayed to learn that the hotel's housekeeping team claimed not to have seen the items. I found this response puzzling, as I distinctly remember placing the items in the cabinet. While I appreciate the hotel's efforts to provide a comfortable stay, I was disappointed by the loss of my personal belongings and the inconsistent response from the housekeeping team. I even left a tip when I checked out.
I recently stayed at the Grand Lisboa Palace Macau from 21-23 December 2024 with my family and we stayed in 2 separate rooms on the 5th floor and my experience was bittersweet. On the positive side, my hotel room was lovely, with a beautiful garden view that provided a serene escape from the bustling city. The room itself was well-appointed, with comfortable amenities and attentive service from the hotel staff.

Hong Kongfree breakfast in Grand buffet was messy as there was a huge queue in the morning and it was taking almost an hour in queue which is not normal. But the good thing is they were transferring guests to Lobby Lounge for free breakfast for whoever willing. but hotel should improve the bookinh of Grand buffet breakfasts on peak days.
staffs were extremely cordial and helpful. very spacious room and the hotel tries its best to keep all the guests happy with services. Even the free breakfast in Grand buffet was bit messy, they immediately arranged free breakfast in Lobby Lounge. Free transport also from all ferry terminal and all tourist spots. The room is big and very very clean. the swimming poop is very good and a must visit for family.
